I have 14 pots of golden pothos, 5 of which are placed in my vertical garden inside my bedroom. They're the most easy to care for plants with one of the prettiest variegations.
Glad I watched this Video!...made me appreciate my golden pothos more. It already have three new leaves. I technically put it under the guava tree and it is thriving pretty well. When fertilizing them...i use fish emulsion (The smell is something else)
@@Augusttaffy the lighting is fairly bright during the day, and I'm in a country where the sun shines all year round so I guess that helps. Also, I managed to 'kill' that pothos 😭. Ive tried to get a second one. It grew to a point and stopped growing, so i cut all the leaves with nodes and water propagated them ever since. And they're doing amazingly well!

I've started growing pothos a couple months ago and now they're trailing almost 1meter. Looking at them everyday is awesome, so refreshing. I'm looking for other varieties.
I got a six leaf rooted cutting from a friend then three leaves died so I potted the other three in soil. Now after many years it has grown a lot and after many propagations now I have an abundance of golden pothos in my home❤️

I love your videos! I've had a neon and a golden pothos for a bit more than a month now, they are my favorites but I feel like they haven't changed compared to my other plants.. I thought it was because they didn't have enough light so I moved them together closer to the window but so far I'm not seeing much of a difference! They both look healthy, it's just that they don't grow.. 🤣😭
Hi! haha it's good they look healthy :) Have you given them some ferilizer maybe? also keep an eye on the light they get closer to the window (as long as it is not direct strong sunlight, as they prefer lower levels of light) .. let me know how it goes :)

I think I just had to be patient because they have been growing new leaves and I'm super happy! ♥ I have adjustable window shutters so they aren't directly in the sun, thanks for your tips, I have also been giving them a bit of fertilizer :)
Quick tip: you cannot literally overwater golden pothos. It is usually planted in a container of just water. No soil or other medium is required. Also if the humidity is above 60% you don't have to even plant it in water. Golden pothos has pneumatic roots, it gets it's water from air. Just hang it anywhere and you are good to go. It wouldn't hurt to spray water on its notes daily though.
I keep my Golden Pothos in high indirect light at the window, it has the morning sun from 6AM till 14 PM. And the leafes aren't green are only very variegated, i suppose is because it needs lot of light to have these white spots.
Love your channel! Quick question! Are philodendron brasil any similar regarding care? I bought one about 2 weeks ago and, although it has already 2 new leafs, about 5 or 6 leafs from the base have turned yellow one by one and then dry out and fell :(

What do I do if the plant is droopy but the soil is not moist? If I water it for some reason the leaves stay curled up. Where should I place the pothos in sun or in a nice room that has a little bit of sunlight?
I bought golden photos this 2 days ago. And it's late August. Is it going to grow? And can I place it next to the window, which is bright but not direct.

Hi Lucia, I got a golden pothos about 8 months ago. It hasn't grown since :( but also it is still very much alive and has many green leaves. The only problem is that it stayed in the same length and hasn't grown even an inch. I don't know what to do, have I done something wrong? Can you please help me, thank you :)
I've just bought 8 little plants... I love them so much.. I hope they will survive under my not green finger... every plant that I tried to grow in the last 6 years has died... so.... this is my last chance and if they will die I'll give up with indoor plants...
Yes! same instructions apply here. I have 2 in my home and they behave the same way. Moderate light to keep it Neon or they can revert back to Jade. Although, mine has not lost the Neon color and I have moved her all around my home, bedroom, kitchen, living room even bath.
Sorry for that. Mine went yellow when I gave it too much water. They like to dry out a bit. If the soil is too wet try repotting it. Mine lives on my sunny verandah. It gets a little full sun in the morning and it's bright the rest of the day. Maybe yours wants more light?

I got my first golden in April, now it’s turning brown. I have a 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 babies under 2 so I can’t keep it inside our house. We keep it on the balcony. I now have 3 golden and 1 snow Queen. I’ll be getting more from my supplier next month, but I just need to know why do they have a brown undertone to it. I also have 2 string of hearts and 2 string of turtles. I water all plants 2 times a week and once every other week with plant food. It could be too much sunlight and too much water, I’m just not sure

The pot is a lot smaller compared to yours but also my pothos is much much smaller, so I don't think that's the problem :)

Could you use succulent soil for this plant? I’m a beginner 😅
I think they would benefit more from more nutritious soil. I am using cheap universal indoor plant soil and it works great.
My pothos is shooting straight up instead of vining outwards, any ideas as to why?
Its probably not long enough to vine yet...i mean it starts to vine when the weight of the branches is too heavy to go upward...

Its either overwatering or underwatering.

I think she goes by Devil's Ivy here in the UK :) She's the first plant that I got and she's grown so quickly, I love her :)
