    There was absolutely nothing wrong with the standing count. Ref made the right call. The bell saves fury but it should not have been stopped. The guy has been down before and got up from Shots most wouldn’t have. The way he composed himself in the tenth showed the ref was 100 percent bang on.
    I had it 4 each after 8 but then Usyk won the next three fury the last one so Usyk was a clear and fully deserved winner.

    • @eddyd63

      No the argument is that he should have been counted the first time he was held up by the ropes, as that counts as a knockdown. Then after being counted it would have given Usyk 20 seconds after the count to finish the fight. Instead, the ref let Fury bounce off the ropes for an extra 20 seconds instead of counting him.

      Absolute bollocks, wilder was in better control of himself when his fight got waved off against fury (fury v wilder 2). Fury COULDN’T defend himself, anyone who knows boxing knows that usyk would have finished him if the ref hadn’t intervened. The standing eight count should have been given the first time the ropes kept him on his feet, not the fifth or sixth. Leathered by a middleweight bro 😅

    I saw the same fight as Eddie clearly- he says it exactly as I saw it. I had 6 rounds each but Fury loses a point for the knockdown so 114,113 Usyk. Fury looked ludicrously dominant 4 to 7 then the nose job turned the whole fight. Also, if the ref had allowed Usyk just one more left as Fury crumpled lifelessly into the turnbuckle at the end of The Benny Hill Show in round 9, I think it would have all been over-but he didn't so it was a 10-8 round instead.

    It was a brilliant boxing match. How on earth Usyk managed to turn it around I have no idea, but he was just incredible. I personally believe Tyson was hurting Usyk, and to allow him to get inside his huge range, was a massive mistake. I think in a rematch Fury learns from these mistakes and wins comfortably. Usyk a deserved winner and an unbelievable unified boxing World champion.

  • @michaels2569
    @michaels2569 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Uysk kinda had the edge on first two rounds being the aggressor not so sure about the 3rd round would need t watch the entire fight again. The middle rounds however, you could see the momentum shift where Fury was getting the better of Uysk and even rocked him not to the same degree that Uysk did to Fury. However, Uysk did a great job of adjusting increasing the tempo and smothered Fury, giving him no space. Plus, I forgot which round was it where Fury's nose was bleeding possibly broken that probably started hurting his cardio as he would be essentially swallowing his own blood. If Fury did not get that standing count he would've gotten flat lined a few more clean punches would've sealed it. That's worst I've ever seen Fury hurt. Even in the Wilder fights he got knocked down but when he stood up was able to recover quickly but saved by the rope rule and time. Can't wait to see the rematch!

    As a fury fan a huge congrats to usyk. In my opinion he isnt just the best heavyweight of this era but also should be considered an all time great. His ability to recover and adapt to the fight even when his gameplan wasnt working half of the fight and managing to come out on top is absolutely mind blowing. Fury was keeping the distance with his long jab, setting up an uppercut whenever usyk lunged in for punches and at one point I thought fury had this in the bag. Then usyk comes back to have fury out on his feet?! Unbelievable! I also realized that no matter how small he is compared to other opponents his ring generalship and elusive head movement is impeccable. Fearless guy! As a fury fan I admit I was wrong about usyk. Wow! Also wanna give my man fury respect too. If it werent for him we wouldnt see usyk at his best. The guy refused to go down against usyk. I thought he was saved by the bell. I dont care about either guys personality. Because what matters is skill. And the more skillfull guy won. Usyk. was the smarter boxer. Fury didnt lose because he wasnt humble like some idiots say. And usyk didnt win because he wasnt arrogant. He won because he was the better boxer. Plain and simple. Body language and personality or trash talk is for promoting the fight. Has nothing to do with winning inside the ring. If you are a true fan you should appreciate both of them. People who degrade fighters and call them cowards for not fighting each other because they want more money for their families are the biggest p*ssies ever. İnjuries are a part of fighting and it can happen to anyone. Trash talk is a part of promoting and building up the fight and getting the fighters paid more. So thanks to my man usyk for being so hilarious in the build up with his broken english and kudos to fury with his funny insults.
