      Yea I think that’s the model 155 Hp vs 135. From what I hear the hp difference is made up in handling and production

      @@TheTreeShop I believe it. The MTL undercarriage delivers a much nicer ride. I do think 155 horse @ 44 GPM AND 6k psi will recover better than the 135 at 50 gpm.
      Could be completely wrong but that’s what my hydraulic experience would see at face value.
      Be happy to watch a comparison either way!!

    • @TheTreeShop
      @TheTreeShop  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Lamtrac hydros bog down when head gets into big wood and then stalls or makes it difficult to move and recover. 135 does not.
      Also the MTL undercarriage with air ride seat of a 135 feels exactly the same as a CAT CTL undercarriage with air ride seat.
      The lamtrac cab I’m sure beats any skid steer frame though.

    It is still interesting to me that there are parts of Florida where pine trees still exist. Ultimately is is always faster to destroy trees than it takes to grow them. I guess development and beetles have not taken over the whole state yet. What I hate about Allen key bolts get clogged up with debris and have to be chiseled out. Good point about that machine being more suitable for mulching and not being loaded with debris after.

    • @m.turnerbillingsley4471
      @m.turnerbillingsley4471 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I suggest you get in an airplane and fly over Florida. There are trees everywhere including (mostly) pines. Tree farming is a huge business in the state and there are large tracts of land now planted in pines that previously were used for farming and fruit. There may be some net loss of coverage but as a pilot in Florida I can assure you there are still a LOT of pine trees.

    Just between you and me... I've seen videos that claim it's a waste of money, to go for more than the 120, from ASV. 135 was a big let down, compared to the 120. Your show, your call. With nearly 50 extra hp over your 259, I have no doubt it is better. But is it worth the cost?

    • @TheTreeShop
      @TheTreeShop  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know what video your talking about and the jump from a 120 to a 135 is half of the jump from a 299 to a 135.
      Everyone I have personally spoken to from all over the world who has it loves it.

    • @TheTreeShop
      @TheTreeShop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The FAE BL4/SSL with sonic is definitely something to consider. That being said I’d still go with the Blackhawk. It hits so much harder than the fae. Idk where you are mulching but if you’re in the southeast like me I’d pick the fecon. Fecon also just redid their parts system and ordering whatver you need is super easy and fast.

    From what I have seen in your videos, you tackle brush-clearing jobs that range from grasses to small trees. Have you considered purchasing one machine that will cut 10 inch trees to grass? It is faster, more reliable, and is more cost effective.

    • @TheTreeShop
      @TheTreeShop  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’m really confused on your question. The only machine that can cut 10 inch trees and everything in between down to grass is a forestry mulcher… which is what I run. I’m
      not sure if you mean a fully dedicated machine or something else entirely but a dedicated machine new is pushing up on $500k and used typically come with a nightmare of problems. With the equipment we are in right now we are very mobile and can go to any project. Once we go bigger it will have to start being more of a judgement call to pick which machine to bring.
