Very typical for a referee to play 3 minutes over the additional time limit these days in order to allow Dublin to comeback. Joe mcquillan gifted them 2 last minute all Ireland’s in 10 years.
The goal keeper hasn't got much to do with these football rules.. Too bad.. Maybe if you get much more points when you score in the lower goal with net the kicks wouldn't all go over the goal in between the poles.. You'd get and need more variaty and skills in the game..
An other way of changing the game would be if the keeper could throw something to the ball to change it’s direction but changing the point system and height of the goal would be easier.. When the goal is higher a keeper could also use a stick or sort of tennis racket to stop the ball.. Just some ideas.. ;)

Yeah because the reffs are pocketing a lot of money where did he get the 6mims added time from today? And then the 3 mins he played over time?? Should have been beat by monaghan fucking unbelievable
For about 2 and half minutes of injury time, the ball wasn't in play, Monaghan emptied their bench and Beggan wasn't in a rush to kick 2 frees. All of which the referee was taking into account. The ref was spot on with blowing the whistle on the 79th minute. Monaghan completely blew a massive lead against the Dubs when it was there for the taking. It's their own fault. And if you think match officials are getting backhanders for a league match in February, you're completely delusional.
Ryan Fleming it's not their own fault, if the ref blew the fucking whistle when he was supposed to monoghan would have won but I suppose refs are probably told to make sure dublin wins
