copilot is awesome! I'm excited for the turning point where devs really start to see AI coding fluency as essential and not as "cheating". I hope higher ed gets ahead of the curve too...
I would like to know how good have you found this? Is the big code chunks generated by copilot maintainable and extendable? (For example this chess game typed things?) Do you think this will revolutionize programming and be the end of the bulk programmers job in long run? (I mean let say programming would come 1000% easier and therefore we would need 1 developers instead of 10, therefore reducing amount of available programmers positions by 90% or X%) What's your intake on this and how do you argument your point of view?
And I exactly hoped so. Wrote a list for them which features I wanna see just before GitHub Universe (literally wrote take a look at Cursor, they do a great job :D) and now many things are here, really happy 🙏 - so there wasn't even a need to write the list, they were already cooking quite well it seems :D Considering the size of GitHub though, I can imagine they already were working on this stuff quite a long time ago, but wanted to perfect it

Please provide Upgrade Assistant for .NET as well which is most required
He did not use VIM
they copied all the Cursor IDE ideas wow 🙄
Cursor should just be built into vs code or an extension not a separate app. Copilot will win for this reason I think. I do love cursor though.
