    Literally seven different tutorials in one. Amazing.

    Hey man, this is the most easily comprehensible video on this topic that I've yet encountered (and I've been looking into them for some time now), you have a great talent for passing down knowledge. I also looked some other videos of yours (about Webflow) they are also cool, so honestly only confusing thing about this channel is channel's name :) Maybe you'd want to consider rebranding, because I honestly thought this channel will be about beating social anxiety for teenagers or something like that, and was surprised with value and unrelated topic of actual videos.
    Anyway, just my 2c, wish you all the best and to continue the good work.

      Thank you so much, really appreciate it! Yep I've been thinking about that lately - loose plan right now is to get to 1K and then pivot/rebrand, will probably make a video on it soon to keep you updated

    Great video - nice and clear! Having been dabbling in reference fields and such, I wanted to have a crack at a jobs board but thought I would check out how to do it first in case I was missing something. Glad I did - you have given me clarity and using Airtable will take it up to the next level. Thanks again!

    Nicely done. I would like to see how you could add in authentication to your board. For example, before an employer submits a job using your form, the employer needs to either create an account or they need to authenticate if they've already created an account.

    Great video man! I recently purchased a Webflow job board template and was having a hard time finding someone to update it at a reasonable price. This made it super easy for me to do it on my own.

    Great video mate! I'm having a problem. CMS collection only allows 10K items right? Is that mean we can't add more than total of 10K postings?

    This was perfect! However, I have a request. Would you be able to do a tutorial on how one can build a website with a job board that also allows candidates to apply to the jobs? Eg. Submit resumes or cover letters. Thank you!

    Thanks! Sorry for the late input (making this comment in 2024) but Ive been thinking about using Bubble instead but what are the benefits of using it this way? Is it cheeper? What has changed in the last 2 years since the video was made - i.e. is it done the same way? And also can you integrate Stripe into it so customers could pay for publishing ads? Thanks

    Hi is anyone else getting this error when connecting webflow with zappier ' Failed to create an item in Webflow
    Required field "Name" (name) is missing. Required field "slug" (slug) is missing. Required field "Archived" (_archived) is missing. Required field "Draft" (_draft) is missing'

    A really useful video thank you - Would you/could you use Zapier to fire off an email to the person/s who set up the job posting to let them know someone has then applied? Could you also do something similar for the applicant to let them know their application has been received?

  • @LillianDaya

    This is great! thanks so much!
    I'm running into an issue with Zapier though. When I set up the webflow action to use Job Type lookup ID and test it, i get an error
    "Failed to create an item in Webflow
    The app returned "ValidationError: Validation Failure"."
    I double checked that the lookup id does in fact exist. Has anyone else encountered this issue? When I pass this field as empty, the test runs successfully

    Hi Alex, great video! I wanted to know if it is possible to build a job portal website in webflow? Candidates can sign up, log in, create their profile, upload their resume in the backend. And they can also search for jobs. Employers can sign up, log in, post jobs and search for candidates. Is this something that can be built within webflow? Can I use Memberstack for the authentication and Airtable for the database storage to achieve this?
    Thanks.

    This is awesome, thanks for the tutorial man! Any chance you could add a way to monetize this? Like a paywall everytime an employer wants to submit a job posting. I'm trying to come up with this niche job board idea but I don't know how to add the payment part. Keep up the great work!

    • @alexleischow
      @alexleischow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Awesome! Yeah I'd use Memberstack to add the paywall. I made a video on it here: th-cam.com/video/LHDcR_qVT38/w-d-xo.html

    I found a problem where the search bars only work for the current pagination. Like for example, if you have 1000 jobs, and your current pagination only shows 10, then you can't search for the 11th job and onward...It simply will not show you.

    • @JohnSmith-bs9ym
      @JohnSmith-bs9ym 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This was solved by using Finsweet's infinite pagination attribute!

    If your job board gets popular aren't you quickly going to run into the max number of CMS items in WebFlow and AirTable? It seems you'll have to bump up to expensive enterprise plans pretty quickly.
