As many people thought that DLP's castle is built cheap but its not, even the manufacturer that is involved with the project was surprised how authentic this version of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
Nothing of the original Disneyland Park in Paris was build cheap (don't know why people think that), instead it was one of the most expensive castle parks they have built with the most details and some of the most expensive versions of classic Disney attractions such as Small World, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. A whole other situation though with the Studios park, that was the smallest & cheapest park.

I really hate it when people outisde of France or Europe that visit DLP for the first time thinks its a very cheap Disney Resort, where in fact it houses the most beautifully done Magic Kingdom that the imagineers ever did! The contrast between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios are evident and I don't really like it. Thankfully with the expansion for the Studios though.
Absolutely. And the French building regulations are much stricter than other countries, regarding strength, manufacturing and health & safety procedures.
