One simple solution. Go to settings > Additional settings > Remote and accessories.
Here you will see Xiaomi RC.. This is Remote control. Select the Xiaomi RC and select option unpair. Then again press any button of the remote it will make pair again..
After that try voice command, it will work.
No need to reset full settings.

Resetting is the last thing everyone do when something in your device doesn't work. It is the ultimate solution for software bugs but has to compromise on losing data. So this really isn't much of a good fix for this problem.👎

A good fix is this:
Settings -> Remotes & Accessories -> Unpair MI RC -> Wait -> Will automatically reconnect in 1 min

Guys pls dont use the trick in the video It has risks that u will lose your account.
Follow this trick to make your remote work:
1. Open the remote cells and place them back again properly.
2. Check if your remote cells are drained or not.
3. Go to ---> remote accesories ---> Xiaomi remote ---> unpair , and pair again by pressing apps and exit button together.

There is a option in TH-cam in the search tab where we can speak and it recognises what we are saying and start searching automatically but not whenever I click over that microphone button the pop up comes over screen saying speak and then after some time it says can't recognise something like that but earlier it used to recognise and was working properly. But I have some different problem - whenever I do skype call - Everytime I need to press MIC button to speak.
I tried connecting external MIC via USB as well, but after few seconds it stops. Then I need to plug it off and plug in again.
Is there anyway to keep MIC button continuously ON ?
Also - As advised to reset mi tv 4a pro - will my apps which I installed via USB will also be reset ? Is it like Factory Reset ?
