You can also take your no engagement feed rate up to the machines full rapid rate and set the adaptive to keep the tool down much more of the time. Those can save small amounts of time.

Those fixture clamps work well as long you have full contact along the edge and usually more than one of them.

That's what I thought as well but I don't see it in Fusion 360. It's a mystery. I will have to check the tool offsets.
