Andy has a way of healing souls. Been an avid listener over 10 years and have seen them live multiple times. Ill forever preach the gospel of this band.
Made me so happy to see you, one of my favorite reactors, react to my favorite band! Your smile made me smile. Any song by Manchester Orchestra does not disappoint. Quietly, Pride, The River, The Grocery, I Know How to Speak. Those are a few of my favorites!
This song is a mix of Andy (the lead singer) talking to God, talking to his daughter, and then God talking to Andy. Its a prayer of sorts - Andy is trying to be better than his father and family before him. He understands the incredible task of raising a child and wants to do it well. Hauntingly beautiful. Thank you for such a genuine & beautiful reaction!
I was actually at this show at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. I worked security there for 5 years so I got comped for this one. It was one of the best shows of that year !
It’s a conversation with God according to the lead singer. First, he’s talking to God, then it’s God responding before it becomes him talking to his daughter. So it’s a bit complicated but in either case, great reaction and hope you do more Manchester Orchestra. Their song “The Wolf” is underrated.
This video was wonderful. Please consider reacting to Buddy Rich Impossible Drum video. He may have been the best drummer ever and this video shows his nearly magical skills in his later years.
One of the best bands ever, and surely one of the best live bands of the last 20 years. Thanks for reacting to them.
Manchester orchestra is amazing. Their music has been the sound track of my adult life.
Great song choice. Manchester Orchestra is such a great live band ❤ great catalog of songs

That was awesome
Short version.. It's him talking to God, then God talks back.. then he prays for his daughter.

They have a Lot more good music, and videos.
I just found out they are going to be performing in Philly next week trying to go
If you care to dig around their catalogue a bit, you'll soon realize that this underrated band really is the Pink Floyd of this musical era.
