Funny this comes across my TH-cam feed as I've been spending the last year rebuilding an 07 tiburon from the ground up. Just got it moving under it's own power for the first time in 3 years after sitting in a field the whole time. Dead simple cars to work on.
I love the final years of the Tiburon. I always wanted a v6 manual. In my mind it was similar to my 96 probe GT but would likely start more often. lol. But i absolutely love these. If I could find a decent one for 3k I’d buy one to play with. I mean it would likely be stock but as a local run around town car. Great job saving one of these.
The first car i bought for myself was a 2005 tiburon se 6 speed. 6th gear was shot, clutch needed to be replaced. I replaced everything but the engine in the next 4 years. They called it shark for a reason. It will take chunks out of you. I always said it was a fun car when it worked. That car ate tires like it was a shark.
i decided to look and holy its suprising to see so many cars that look VISUALLY fine and GOD knows that there are other issues if there isnt crash damage
So, the good news is, you didn't even pay 7 cents per thumb up... I think that's a conversion rate many youtubers would be happy with! :) Fantastic job, fantastic video, and thanks for making the planet at bit more fantastic!!
Wow, that series of events with the panel alignment with the bodyshop not doing what they agreed to and lying through their teeth reminds me of a guy I know who paid for a wheel alignment to pass MOT, but when it was checked out the examiner said that no work had been done. The mechanic who had scammed him would not give back the money (minor claims court is a joke) without some "encouragement", shall we say. Anyway, really cool video. Very interesting to see the process of getting a busted car into good nick again.
I have watched ma y of your previous videos through the years. I really like the detail you went into during the fiero. I also have a Tiburon from 2007 in blue and the same watch and I love restoring cars
One of my Dad's coworkers did this but with a motorhome. And he did it by buying two. One that had been in a front end collation and one that had rolled over. He put the front of the roll over on the other and made one good motorhome for about 1/4 of the price of new after selling off a lot of the interior parts from the roll over, seats, lights, turn indicators, ect. Think it took him longer to sell off all the parts then to do the front end swap.

Not the money you spent. It's the friends you made along the way.
I found this video in my feed. You came off as someone inexperienced in auto mechanics deciding to do it himself. While you undoubtedly ran into problems, you also did not come off as a novice. So, after watching your entertaining video, I checkout you video history. This is not the first car you have worked on along with a large number of motorcycles. Good video.
This is a great example of why it is an artform. What you need to replace and what you can "feasibly" repair.
Well done on the adjustable arm. I usually mark the distance they are at then wind them in till the thread start to tighten because of the damage then straighten and wind in further until it will go all the way by hand.
The plasma saber tattoo is golden.
Master Chief.
You are genuinely one of the most entertaining DIY youtubers out there. Great content!
This video is so old I forgot I watch it! I literally watched it before reading the comments and seeing my "like" on the pinned comment. RONALD!
Kid named finger is fixing cars now
love it
Just stumbled across your channel on my homepage. Enjoyed the video and editing style. You've got yourself a new subscriber!
Hey man! I love your videos! By the way, next time don’t buy new headlights; refurb the old ones:
-Wet sand from 400-600-800-1000-1500-2000
-Polish with rubbing then polishing compound
-Wax thoroughly!
You could also get a plastic polish from Novus or something similar instead of the rubbing and polishing compounds. TRUST ME! It’s worth it! Takes about 10-15 minutes/light, but they will look brand new! I have before and after photos of headlights from a Honda you wouldn’t believe, so DM me if interested! Great videos though; reminds me of when I was a young man…
Okay, this guy is actually hilarious. I hope he restores more car
absolutely love this channel!
love seeing your car repairs!
this car looks very cool now!
The editing and the presentation is gold!
My first car was an 03 Tiburon and I would so love to do this same process. I miss that car so much.
I know fuck all about cars or repairing them, but this was just beyond enjoyable to watch
Fun watch. Tip for future cars. First thing for EVERY car bought. Check essential fluid levels before starting the vehicle. Oil, coolant, trans fluid.
I can see you really torque your time on this one!
Lol you are so lucky you didn’t kill the engine at the beginning! I feel like some engines would have been goners by then.
Awesome, still my favourite "auto repair" 🙂 guy on TH-cam!
Funny this comes across my TH-cam feed as I've been spending the last year rebuilding an 07 tiburon from the ground up. Just got it moving under it's own power for the first time in 3 years after sitting in a field the whole time. Dead simple cars to work on.
1:23 THAT WAS YOU?! 🤣🤣 I LOVE that gif!! Lmao
Bro, new subscriber here, I never thought watching someone fix..well, kinda fix things, could be so entertaining and funny. Nice job!
Props to your mom mentioning her son was youtuber this morning , nice vid keep up the hard work.
Im not gonna lie. Youre becoming my favorite car youtuber over donut, sammit, illuminate, and adam 😂
Thank you for pulling off a Christopher Nolan with my brain before repairing the frame.
as a my summer car player this video was awesome
So, the good news is, you didn't even pay 7 cents per thumb up... I think that's a conversion rate many youtubers would be happy with! :)
Fantastic job, fantastic video, and thanks for making the planet at bit more fantastic!!
Loving the videos, would love to see these types of car repairs more often :D
in Europe it's called Hyundai Coupé. Good job, man. I'm impressed that there are still some people in the US of A able to drive stick.
Love the happy ending.....$3000 vs $3000 ...Thanks for the video.
So basically, fixing that car gave you free tools. Thats how i justify buying expensive tools anyway
All I see is that you now have a used Tiburon that's not getting crushed into a cube.
That was genuinely a great video, you clearly worked hard on the car. Congrats, have a like and sub
Ronnie, you have my subscribe but under one condition......please make more videos. Great video. Absolutely incredible Humour. Great stuff
Heck, yeah! Every do it yourself project I've ever done! $3000! Great video
I have watched ma y of your previous videos through the years. I really like the detail you went into during the fiero. I also have a Tiburon from 2007 in blue and the same watch and I love restoring cars
This is dope, i hope more people save these badass cars after hearing this.
I'm laughing so hard at the end of the video, the face after saying $3000. Well the experience was well worth it.
The frame repairs are horrendous. I appreciate the effort
Congratz, amazing video, very entertaining, and remember "buy cheap, buy twice"
