One of my favourite films ever. Probably watched it over 50 times. It's the closest to a great 80's action film we've had since the turn of the century.
Imagine if a Batman actor underwent the same intensive training as Rain for this film. The fight scenes would be amazing, with Batman not killing anyone. He would come across as a supernatural creature to his enemies, just like the beginning scene with the Yakuza Boss.
If this movie would be out now with the boom of Korean movies in the international market Rain would be a big Star right now. And also this movie whose like a prequel of Johnny Wick with the style and actions. Too bad this movie came out little bit earlier.
