Hi Saw this video today as I bought it recently.. we have setup the device to my mom's phone.. but whenever her phone screen is off.. the alexa doesn't listen to any of us..? What maybe the issue? And how can we change it?
@@karlaf4799 You can connect it to a mobile hotspot, the same as connecting to any other wifi. You do it in the app, but you need a second mobile/tablet/pc first to connect to the hotspot for the setup - after that it works as usual
Is it me or does Alexa's voice sound muffled? I got one of these and I'm returning it. I can't understand what she says. It sounds muffled in this video too. Her voice on my generation 2 sounds crystal clear.
I just got my charcoal Echo dot 4th gen and I thought that the white power adapter was a mistake. I see that it was not. I hate that they are not the same color

If it’s not available from your App Store I am not sure. You may be able to download the apk file if on android or possibly switch app stores to change region to download it
Hi, when you ask Alexa to play music, it’s mandatory to mention the source? Because in the app you link the music platform of your preference. So if I’m in the app I link my Alexa app with Apple Music, do I have to be more specific? Or it will play the music of Amazon music automatically by itself programming?

This is one to skip. They just ruined a great design. In 2 years we will laugh at 2020 Echo’s. Will definitely buy more of the previews generation Echo’s now that they will go on sale.

Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

I don’t think you can. You may be able to set it up for them with your phone using her Amazon account. I think a 1 time setup is all that’s needed.

No you can make one on the echo itself

Most of them do not cost money. Say it’s for a WiFi bulb - you need the skill for Alexa to be able to use it. It’s usually free.

It looks like you can change the default music service used in the Alexa app so if you change it you don’t have to say the source like I did.

It can do different tasks, timers, weather, play music. If you have smart home devices she can control those for you.
