    First of all thank you to this very good class, but I'd like to confirm just one sentence with you: if you permitt it: At the 30:23" about the 3° question, if we're talking about the same guy that did the reservation and went to the hotel, the sentence would be: Why hadn't he confirmed the reservation before "he" got to the hotel?

    • @laurawolfe154
      @laurawolfe154 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The guy who should have confirmed the reservation was not necessarily confirming a reservation for himself.

    Hi teacher,
    I am still bit confused with the tenses below:
    How does it work with " and " ?
    Ex:-
    1. I had unlocked the door and entered the house or I unlocked the door and entered the house? Which is correct and how ? Please explain (it's got 2 past actions)
    2. I heard they sold the property or I heard that they had sold the house?
    3. I knew they stayed in France for 10 years or I knew that they had stayed in France for 10 years?
    4. I got rumours that they left Italy last month or I got rumours that they had left Italy last month ?
    Please actively seeking reply
    Thanks 😊
