- The final straw came on a boat.
After agreeing to take a six month hiatus to complete the recording of the band's first full length CD, the boys (Jordan and the Jazz Cat Cairo) were coerced by their newest member Will to play one more show.
With promises of massive industry exposure and playing on a luxury yacht with a full stage, the reality proved to be much different.
So putting the recording on hold for 3 weeks the lads created a custom set to accommodate the "showcase's" fifteen minute time limit. Rehearsals revealed that this new set had to be so tightly configured, with a mere matter of seconds between each song, that to pull it off it would require absolute focus and synchronization by the entire band.
Unfortunately, Will thus decided to stay out the entire previous night raving and played the show with little or no sleep.
Kept awake by consuming an entire convenience store worth of carbonated beverages, his focus unfortunately slipped at a key moment... The results of which you can view for yourself, but I warn you it isn't pretty.
The resulting catastrophe was the final straw for Tim "Jordan James" Whitaker. A few weeks afterwords announced that he no longer wished to be a part of the band and wasn't heard from again.
Since he was the source of many of the bands songs and direction, the project ceased to be and five years of hard work would amount to the few videos I have posted here.
