Ngayon ko lang napanood toh but I have gs mini that I've been using for almost a year na, at napaka worth it ng gitara hahah sulit ang budget mo sa specs niya dahil hindi lang siya solid top kundi bone na yung nut and saddle niya kaya ang ganda ng sustain, kaya everytime na mag fingerstyle ako ee ang sarap talaga pakinggan, tsaka sa mga hindi alam ang solid top, well ang solid top ay hindi lang maganda ang tunog kundi mas nag iimprove pa ang sound quality niya habang tumatagal unlike sa laminated. Nga pala if ever gusto ng iba na bumili I recommend sa fermata store dahil free set up na rin and low action pa.

Nut and saddle has nothing to do with resonance but more the intonation and durability. the solid sikta spruce top as tonewood is a plus though. and by the looks of it its an open pore and perhaps satin finished. nice for the price.

@@amber-po2xq Hii sorry for the late reply, yep 8 months na sakin tong gitara, sa shopee ko sya inorder, got mine for only 5,300 ata kasi sale, pero I suggest kung u dont mind sales naman sa store ka mismo bumili para matry mo, Fermata recommended ko kasi sineset up na nila yung gitara. Downside lang ng pagbili ko sa Clifton mismo through online is hindi sya nakasetup, masakit sa kamay so need pa ipasetup, and yung dumating sakin nung una is may defect so binalik ko sya and kami nalang kumuha ng replacement sa mismong factory so dagdag hassle pa. Yun lang if ever na bibili ka sa Fermata ka bumili, online pero mas better kung in person para macheck mo.
I'll pick the Clifton over Phoebus PG20(they are both good guitars, tbh). Solid wood po ang Clifton, laminated ang Phoebus. Mas mura ang Clifton and may gooseneck mic sya, ang Phoebus ay wala. Lamang ang Clifton in terms of specs at mas mura pa po. Hehe

Bumalik ako dito kasi 1 week nakong di makatulog kakaisip sa guitar na to dahil sa review mo kuya. Covid positive ako. 1 week after ko magkasakit palang ako naswab dahil sa holy week. Magquarantine ako for total of 21 days. Nakakabaliw. Nawala guitar ko last month, that was my guitar for 9 yrs. Nanaginip nako na makabili nako ng Clifton Grand Orchestra 😭 hanggang 3 in the morning naghahanap ako online, Facebook, carousel, lazada at shoppee baka may nakasale or what. I can't sleep kakaisip sa guitar na to 😭 Nadedepressed nako. Ayaw pako pahiramin ng guitar kasi natatakot at nandidiri sila sakin 💔 While typing this. Umiiyak ako kasi nawala guitar ko tapos I'm not able to buy kasi no work no pay. Ang hirap maquarantine sa ibang lugar 💔 paborito ko elisi ng parokya no edgar tugtugin. NapakaOG 😭❤️

I already made up my mind to opt for the tyma g-3 nse until I read so many good reviews and feedbacks about this Clifton A series, nalito na ako bigla. Same sila na solid top, magkaiba lang ng wood, sure mas maganda siguro construction ng tyma pero I am just a beginner naman kaya napapaisip ako na baka hindi ko pa need ang worth 14k na gitara. The sustain is not what I expect maybe because they add reverb on their fingerstyle covers so I'll just buy a brass bridge pin and maybe a tusq saddle for my baby

I have tried the Yamaha and were able to conclude that you'd be stupid not to pick Clifton over those.

One thing you really have to put in mind is the price. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with both choices but 14k to 7k is already saying something.
