I'm getting an '04 Red Sox feel from this Vikings team. As a sox fan, I watched than entire season. Just the way this Vikings team walks and moves around gives me a sense of Deja Vu.
Right. No expectations coming in, we're playing with house money. That being said I put fat bets down on minny over 6.5 wins and to finish top 2 in the division. Vegas disrespected our coaching staff even if darnold was league average I knew we would be above average
I wouldn't be so sure they let him walk. They win the division, make the conference championship, and maybe make the SB, I think they'd try to keep him.
He definitely has trade value and there are still holes to address before JJ takes the helm, . . A center, another guard, another RB for 2025... Darnold might give us that
Vikings have no draft capital to make a deal before/at the trade deadline, and who knows where this team will set record-wise in November. Also, when you keep adding at a position of strength like WR all you're doing is limiting touches for the guys already in the room and creating potential chemistry issues. Why would a team do that? There will be definite needs at certain positions going into next year's draft (CB, RG, DT), but for now let's enjoy the season.
