I’m excited that on September 17 I am going to be in the audience the first time these ladies set foot on the stage of the Grand Old Opry in Nashville. I’ve been listening to their music for a little while and trust me the three of them together are quite the package. This is just one song and the performance in my opinion was phenomenal. Can’t wait to see what they are doing with Darius Rucker. He has a project with him.
I absolutely love them! This 66 year grandma thinks that they’re going straight to the top of the music charts because they’ve got the talent. All three ladies can sing and I haven’t heard a bad or even a mediocre song yet. I love their song Daddy Do.

There have been a few black solo artists, but as far as I know there's never been an all female black country group!! They are amazing and all 3 are strong lead vocalists!! They deserved that golden buzzer more than some who have gotten it for sure!! ❤️❤️

I listened to a Podcast & they grew up in the church, Danica & Davynn’s father was a preacher, which took Danica to sing, so Danica taught her sister & brother to harmonize. Trea was already singing in New Orleans, Danica joined, then Devynn. They’re AMAZING, a breath of fresh air! Listen to all their originals, especially “American Pride”! Our country NEEDS THEM!

I've been a fan for about 2 years, living on MS Gulf Coast. The other girls have lead in other songs, they switch it up. They have played several live venues here on the coast. Go Chapel Hart!

Charlie Pride and Darius Rucker are two examples of extremely successful Country artists of color. However, I cannot off top think of a successful female Country artist of color, so they may be first there, if they make it big in the long term. Loved their song, their energy and your reaction!
You should review some of their other songs, the other two also sing lead. They were good enough for Dolly, Loretta Lynn and Darius Rucker praised them.
All 3 sing lead, depending on the song, and all could carry a band on their own. They have turned out multiple albums and have toured the world. All they lack is a major contract, which I hope they don't live to regret.

Country music has become so homogenized and bland in the past few decades, they all sound alike, and definitely sing about the same thing. I have NEVER heard of a black female country trio. You have Mickey Guyton and Rhianna Giddens on the more bluegrass/folk side. They are both excellent, but again not at the level of much less talented current female singers. Chapel Hart is throwback original country music. They are storytelling like Dolly Parton, relevant and bold lyrics like Loretta Lynn, with the joyful showmanship of Barbara Mandrell. Check out their “Tailgate Trophy” or their cover of Georgia Satellites “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” to hear all three sing. I must respectfully disagree that Danica should sing solo, Trea and Devynn can sing and provide tight harmonies. Nashville can no longer deny Chapel Hart’s place in country music!

He was Mexican-American. Charley Pride(a bona fide country music LEGEND) was the #2 all-time best-selling artist on his label. #1 was Elvis. Darius Rucker has released 5 country albums, and sells out venues all the time. I think he's a shoo-in for the Country Music Hall of Fame, along with the Rock And Roll HOF.
Perhaps you should listen to their repertoire - and they have quite a few original songs - and you'll realize each of those other two ladies has an amazing voice .. plus one has added rap skills. Check them out!!
There are several TH-cam videos of this group. All three sing leads in other songs and sound equally good. You seem to discount their harmony, which I thought was excellent. Dude... I'm not even a country fan but that was a banger. AGT has a country solo guy who had 2 songs he performed and they both hit #1 on the counrty chart. You should check him out too.
There were girl country groups in the 80's and 90's, and they all made bank. One group is for sure still around, The Chicks (formerly the Dixie Chicks). I am not a fan of most country, but some of it grabs me. Chapel Heart grabbed me, and I believe it is like most great bands, every member contributions are equally important. Something will be lost if one is replaced. Guarantee it.
They are a big deal now with nods from Dolly and Loretta Lynn. Country radio is playing their song. They have many more original songs on TH-cam. I hope they win AGT.

I think Chapel Hill was really good. They sounded great, they had great energy, they seem like really great human beings, and the fact that it was an original song absolutely matters. With that in mind, I think you should listen to Drake Milligan. He and his band have done 2 original songs on AGT this year and both of them have hit #1 on the Spotify County charts. This guy is special too!

I don't think that Chapel Hart was just talking about race when they said country music doesn't look like them. I believe they were talking about having someone of the lead singers size being a issue. And that would make them very original as Howie mentioned ( implied ).

As you mentioned, there have been other Blacks in Country Music. Unfortunately they’ve been a rarity. Really, Charlie Pride, whom I love, had been basically it for years. But when we look further back into Country Music’s Roots you find more, and their impact. Personally I’m hoping for the best for these young ladies. And hopefully more will follow.

With that in mind, I think you should listen to Drake Milligan. He and his band have done 2 original songs on AGT this year and both of them have hit #1 on the Spotify County charts. This guy is special too!

In the early to mid-1970s, he was the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. Pride was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1993, the Country music Hall of Fame in 2000 and recieved the Willie Nelson lifetime achievement award in 2020. Charlie Pride has sold over 70 million records. Charlie also played in the Negro American league from 1953 to 1960.
I don't think that Chapel Hart was just talking about race when they said country music doesn't look like them. I believe they were talking about having someone of the lead singers size being a issue. And that would make them very original as Howie mentioned ( implied ).
They have music where the other girls are the lead singer they take turns depending on the song
They are the OG's from a female standpoint. There have been male artists since the 70's. Larry Doby comes to mind.
Charlie Pride, Darius Rucker, Kane Brown, Jimmie Allen, etc are all people of color very successful in country music but I think they would be the first females. Darius Rucker has a spot on his new album for them and they have been invited to The Grand Ol Opry. And yes the other 2 sing lead as well

As you mentioned, there have been other Blacks in Country Music. Unfortunately they’ve been a rarity. Really, Charlie Pride, whom I love, had been basically it for years. But when we look further back into Country Music’s Roots you find more, and their impact. Personally I’m hoping for the best for these young ladies. And hopefully more will follow.
