It's Anshuman Sirji's in depth knowledge of how to apply the mechanics of the vehicle to use , without the acute knowledge one just can't conquer these tough obstacles.

He is an expert driver and has acquired immense knowledge during the time. The Vcross is YES customized to perform on hardest of terrains. It also have locking differential. It is built for all this!
His car has twin lockers , he says it so himself @8:30 .even the new thar has more or less only a rear mechanical locking differential , and the front has a brake locking differential which is more akin towards traction control and not a proper differential locker. Off road cars with proper differential lockers can go almost anywhere . Yes it depends on drivers experience as well but twin lockers sets it at huge advantage over all other vehicles there .

It would be interesting to see how a G wagon with off road tyres will perform on these obstacles. With triple locked differentials it's really capable off road but low profile tyres spoil the fun. Great video. 20 minutes of full on entertainment 🤟.

Twin locker suv's seem unstoppable .. why don't car manufacturers provide them atleast as an option .. is it that front lockers are much more prone to failure if not used properly? Such offroading prowess will give their vehicles great credibility and fan following.
Giving anything comes at a cost..there needs to be huge investment in R&D even for small things..so hence proper forecasting is done and demand is seen before giving any feature

@anshuman......the manner in which your vehicle crossed that last obstacle was like a hot knife slicing through butter....minimal momentum...zero fuss....twin lockers, BF KO2 and the driver did the trick in my opinion....

Thank you very much for this video, it's a great one as always. The new Thar is my dream vehicle. You should have tried Thar on that surface. I think if you try Thar in that last situation, it would have crossed that surface. So now it's feel like I'm not getting a complete satisfaction.

It's an integrated unibody not a monocoque ! It has aircraft like construction for providing rigidity ! But underbody protection is poor ! Offroad capability has nothing to do with durability !
