- As part of the release of the Migration Strategy, the government announced changes to Student visa eligibility. These changes will restrict certain temporary visa holders from applying for a Student visa while in Australia.
From 1 July 2024, Temporary Graduate, Visitor and Maritime Crew visa holders will be unable to apply for a Student visa while in Australia. In addition to existing visas from which it is already not possible to apply for a Student visa onshore, the complete list of visa holders that will be unable to apply for a Student visa onshore are:
Subclass 485 (Temporary Graduate)
Subclass 600 (Visitor)
Subclass 601 (Electronic Travel Authority)
Subclass 602 (Medical Treatment)
Subclass 651 (eVisitor)
Subclass 771 (Transit)
Subclass 988 (Maritime Crew)
Subclass 995 (Diplomatic Temporary) - primary visa holders only
Subclass 403 (Temporary Work) International Relations)) - Domestic Worker (Diplomatic or Consular) stream
Subclass 426 (Domestic Worker (Temporary) - Diplomatic or Consular)

Yes you can both come together… but show them proof that you are legitimately married. Watch my other video on partner visa. If you don’t have work experience student visa is good.

Hard to get visa approval on trade courses.. Near to impossible specially with new rules and new student visa CAP.. you’ll need to apply for good university.

It’s partly correct, not 10 laks.. May be few thousands because they’ll not be able to get student visa after their TR finished.
But the rule is not implemented yet, so let’s wait and watch…

Abi first semester ke exa diye hai 3saal ki study or two year work permit uske bahd kese ruke. Wse after study trade course krne ka soch rakha hai work permit ke sath sath

Also, agr uska trade course PR list me he(or hoga b I think) to uske upr vo job ready program karke, skill assessment krva ke direct PR apply kar sakta he…
