75 amps and larger motors is ideal!
    I'm excited! 🍻

Schön zu sehen, wie sich deine Boards über die Jahre hin verbessert haben. Absolut top nice!

Any way to use the 200mm wheels on the direct drive? Love how silent it is but 200mm wheels would be so much smoother for rough terrain

Maybe a gear drive option for the future? A few different gearing options also for us heftier guys and I will upgrade my BC2.

The ESC has 15a more than the Velar?! How does that translate when it uses 12s battery vs the 14s Velar?

Velar will still have a bit more oomph but the gap is smaller between the 2

The Velar got a „silent“ update to 90A I believe

Belt drive? If so no one cares. Gear drive or direct...belt drive is over with.

lol not even close. belt drive is SOOO much more diverse. hundreds of wheels to choose from. dozens of pullies which allows u to customize ur board’s performance. 3 years skatin and i only broke one belt and that because of doing burnouts in the dirt/sand

The most stupid thing I ever heard. Belt drives are so much better when things go down.

I broke 3 belts in three months on my Meepo Voyager; once on a super steep downhill. Wasn’t a tension issue, it’s just lots of rocks and sticks in the PNW and the design just seemed to funnel them under the belts every chance.
I upgraded it a week ago with an Acedeck Element gear drive and it’s such a huge upgrade. Feels and sounds amazing, has lower resistance and is just bomb proof sealed and worry free. I also have a direct drive Miles Phantom and love it too. Simple and smooth, very little drag so just loves to roll, but it’s a bit under torqued so something like the Ares X3 would be amazing.
Not sure why you value the ability to change gearing so highly but hey if it works well for you…. From where I’m at it’s mostly moot if i’ve a good compromise gearing ratio and a powerful system that provides both plenty of torque and plenty of high end speed. For me it’s better to have a sealed system that’s reliable and low maintenance. After riding gears now I’m totally sold and wont go back to belts

no. Not at all. Many people who use street wheels still prefer it, including myself.

@@sageoz9886 yea i only had one belt snap once. i enjoy changing pullies cuz it makes the ONE board perform like a different board. using 120 cloudwheels with 29T pullies, great power, speed, range, and lower center of gravity is awesome. but if im in the mood for a comfort, grippy, off roading feel with a medium power/speed ratio, i utlize 55T with 7”. or if i want a torquey grippy all terrain setup, i got with 66T w/ 6”… or if i want a mid range, high speed AT setup,’i go with 47T and 7” . or i want a street slide machine with 85mm caguamas and 32T or qk swap for grippy madwheelz. the possibilities are endless . yes the NEW element gear drive can swap out all those wheels, but u are stuck with the performance end. i def respect u liken it better. its good we all have our preferences. but the other guy saying no one cares about belt drive is soo far off
