It was because of the first BEHIND THE SCENES that it made it easier to figure out that LAST EVALUATION ep 1 - 4 and Jennie's hair color the month and year that these were recorded. Both Ahyeon's birthday and Jennie changing her hair color was in April but Jennie's orange hair happened in 2022. Then the pants Ahyeon was wearing is the same one that you see in one of the dance rehearsals for DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. The Thailand content happened just before they announced that Ahyeon wouldn't be debuting with the group. So the timing seemed to go like they returned from Thailand, Ahyeon had to leave for medical reasons, they had to either put the title track on the shelf and second something new or BATTER UP was going to be their debut but had to fill in Ahyeon's parts. They were supposed to debut in September but considering that Ahyeon disappeared from group activities in July it means that YG was scrambling to figure out if they were going to delay BABYMONSTER's debut for September. Which they did. So it must have been because whatever Ahyeon was going through must have been serions enough to the point where they had to make a decision. I don't think that they could wait for Ahyeon to recover to debut BABYMONSTER because it either would have been too long or they were unsure if she could return. Also, remember during that time YG was also in negotiations with the BLACKPINK members. So there was a lot going on behind the scenes at YG from July - October 2023.
