I purchased Nissan magnite xv cvt turbo in march of 2023 and it has clocked 16400kms so far in less than one year. Car performance is good, in highways and at 100-110 kmph i am getting mileage of 15-16, but if i drive at 80-90, we found mileage to be 17-18 atleast. In cities wih full traffic, we can expect 11-12. No major issues found so far, initially we used to get rattling sound but that got fixed after first service. Brakes are good, was able to control car couple of times at high speed from accident. Service centres staff in Hyderabad are well mannered and trained, they do their job without troubling customers. Being magnite my first car, i am highly satisfied with kts performance, they are few minor issues like halogen headlights are not so great which can be upgraded to led at showroom or after market, reverse parking camera has missing guidelines feature, etc. Overall i would suggest to fo for cvt in magnite instead of going gor the manual or AMT. FYI - i considered altroz dct, punch, i10 nios, i20 and xuv300. Despite of visiting tata showroom thrice, i never get a chance to test deive altroz dct. They made me to sit in a car which came for servicing and explained about it without a drive. And on punch tata team had not suggested it considering the 3 cylinder engine performance. Hyundai sales team is best, they offered drinks, took us for test drive. But unfortunately the day when we visited showroom, we have a customer who came to showroom with his car in a Tow truck. He was at 40kmph and hit a truck, i10 was so severely damaged and it cant be recognised from front. Seeing the build quality we thought of dropping hyndai. Xuv300 has very small boot space and it doesn't fit our requirement. Maruti is never considered because of its build quality.
Hi brother, almost similar thing happened with us. We also initially wanted to buy Tata Altroz, but the showroom guys were very unresponsive and couldn't even arrange for a test drive. Both Hyundai and Maruti/Nexa showrooms were very proactive and we had almost finalized on Fronx, however we dropped the idea due to the build quality and finally chose Magnite XV Manual non turbo variant. Till now the ride quality has mostly been good for the daily city commute. Obviously the non turbo variant has a little less power, but doesn't make much difference imo for our usage. It's a good VFM car.
What you've spoken about the steering not returning to center after turning to full lock is because the ECU interprets the full lock turn as a U turn or at parking speeds and so it makes the returning action slower, in order to increase driving comfort. You would not want your steering to return back to center when you're at parking speeds. And also, part of the reason is that the castor angle on this car seems to be lower. A higher castor angle gives a quicker steering wheel. It's return to center action is faster. But Magnite has a slower steering wheel and it is only suited to sedate driving style. Every car has its own style of driving dynamics and Magnite is not suited to spirited driving. Although you can go fast comfortably with relative confidence if you want. If I have to rate Nissan's steering calibration in general, I would put it as follows, Volkswagen = Slavia > Ford > Tata > Honda > Maruti > Nissan > Hyundai.
At 5:42, you're talking about Gear shifter indicators obscured by the hand brake, Even if the hand brake was not present, you wouldn't be able to tell which gear position the knob is in. There is no light that lights up at that place. You only are supposed to look at the instrument cluster. That is the only place where it shows you which gear position you are in.
Yes also you are supposed to remember 4 alphabets PRND. Look at the screen to check what mode is currently selected and judge accordingly. And in manual as well, even if the gears are mentioned at the top of gear knob, a beginner can't really tell what gear is currently engaged by just looking at the gear stick.

CVT of Magnite is the best car for city and highway driving in this budget. Don't go for nonturbo manual mode. This video is biased which you can know by the Thumbnail. Is it because he owns a Breeza? Although the presenter making a review video, he doesn't know the basics of the human anatomy of the leg and foot and how to keep his foot for handling the brake and gas paddle. In any posture (lying down, sitting or standing) Toes face diagonally out of the ankle. During driving one should keep the ankle grounded in almost in the straight line of the brake and should press the accelerator paddle from the front part of the foot keeping the toes diagonally out corresponding to the natural anatomical position. In this position, braking is easier and needs only rotation of the toe slightly inward in a straight line only. The way he is driving is against the natural anatomical position. It will cause tiredness early. It will cause touching his shoe to the wall which he is complaining about. It will create difficult braking in the emergency as he has to rotate toes more inward, which is anatomically difficult or has to lift the leg and foot to press the brake paddle. There is a very high chance that keeping the ankle in a straight line with the accelerator may result in pressing the accelerator paddle instead of the brake in case of an emergency. Magnite Ground clearance, seating comfort, and driveability make a long-distance journey very comfortable. Its CVT is very responsive, there is negligible rubber band effect. Its higher torque of 152 nm at only 2200 rpm beats Breeza every time during filling the gap on the road ahead during City Drive. Breeze TC achieves only 138nm that too after raising the rpm to 4400. Having 85 kg more weight and 7 cm more height makes Breeza lazier than Magnite. Breeze is only 3 cm wider than Magnite which is not of much significance to passengers but creates problems in tight parking spaces and during heavy traffic on the road. While width and height are higher in Breeza which is insignificant for passenger comfort, the Ground clearance of Breeza is only 198 mm in comparison to the whopping 205 mm of Magnite, which gives Breeza difficulty in rough roads and crossing higher-speed breakers in full load. While higher ground clearance and the relatively stiff suspension of Magnite help it. Steering of Magnite is very much improved now which it used to be three years ago just after the launch. At very high speed you don't need to and shouldn't rotate the steering fully. And at a slow speed if you rotate the steering fully it comes back to the center on its own. It is lighter at a slow speed and gains weight with speed, which is a good feature for providing comfort at a slow speed and confidence at a high speed. Fuel efficiency is also good, 22 plus on the highway for me. Being a turbo its fuel efficiency range is very high. Enthusiastic driving with much use of brake and gas and a speed of 160 brings down mileage to 6-8 kmpl, while sedate driving of 60 to 70 kmph keeps it up to even 23-24 kmpl. Breeze has the advantage of a smooth four-cylinder engine but Magnite also is not very noisy inside the cabin. Service availability of Breeza is a plus point but the service centres are crowded due to the higher number of vehicles sold. In highway driving with less traffic, you can take Breeza to a higher speed due to the higher power. But it needs 6000 rpm to deliver maximum power of 103 bhp while Magnite delivers maximum power of 99 bhp at only 5000 rpm. I don't think that the higher price tag of Breeza is justifiable.

Compact SUV's can't give you that instantaneous cuts at 100+speeds. The body roll is evident. I drove Venue, Sonet on Highways at 140+speeds. This too performed in the same manner. Infact this Turbo engine & Transmission comes at much cheaper cost with better performance Compared to Kia,Tata, Hyundai & Suzuki counterparts.. After a lot of Value for money and performance & drivability comparisons for Turbo models, went ahead and bought it. I Compromised on Interior look, and a very minute compressor noise.

I'm Having the same model and version of Magnite...The brake sound is not there in my vehicle. Yea the stability in high speed is little low..That's because of the 205mm ground clearance and the low weight of the vehicle. I found the AC is not that effective and that also because of the 999cc engine. The breaking is good not great because of the back brake system is drum. In low speed the mileage is 8 to 9 and in highways it touched 18.

Ise brezza ke alawa kuch accha nahi lgta hai
Yes TRUE bro . I do own magnite (xv turbo) and never felt The issues ..it The most complete and value for.money car still in 2024..
Mai soch hi raha tha ki Magnite pe video ab tak nahi aayi🙃❤
How is the drive with AC Auto. Do you hear any engine or Compressor noise coming into the cabin? Now check with A/C off.. Please let me know.
guys please dont go for magnite we heavily regret of owning xv magbnite 2023 variant power lag is a serious thing and moreover there is wind noise that could be heard within the interiors as well n the use of cheap plastic makes it mnore ugly on the inside hey i dont need bmw for 9lkah but a descent interiors is what i could expect right?
Same thing happened to me too bro 😂😂 took time to search for wiper water container
I bought magnite
Some negatives
1) I bought in December n i realise, Never buy ur Car at the end of the months it will affect ur Resale value..... Buy at the starting month of New year
2) Cabin Noise horrible
3) 1st Gear Engine noise is tooo loud i guess even Alto doesn't make that much of noise
4) Brake pad starting making sound in only 1.4K Km
5) Mileage not good etc...
Some Pro's
1) Spacious
2) Budget Car
3) Spacious
4) Looks is better than all other car from this segment price
5) Ground Clearance is good
6) As from Hilly guy Power is awesome even from third gear it can go uphill...
Etc

How is the handling, power and stability in comparison to brezza?
Don't go for it bro, it vibrates a lot, engine noise too much. Gear and clutch is very hard. You won't feel comfortable as much as in Brezza.
Bro brezza chodh kar.... Venue Lelo diesel ya turbo m...kbhi nhi pachtaaoge
Power is better than brezza coz of higher torque and turbo but handling is average.
CVT of Magnite is the best car for city and highway driving in this budget.
Don't go for nonturbo manual mode.
This video is biased which you can know by the Thumbnail. Although the presenter making a review video, he doesn't know the basics of the human anatomy of the leg and foot and how to keep his foot for handling the brake and gas paddle.
In any posture (lying down, sitting or standing) Toes face diagonally out of the ankle.
During driving one should keep the ankle grounded in the straight line of the brake and should press the accelerator paddle from the front part of the foot keeping the toes diagonally out corresponding to the natural anatomical position.
Before taking any decision take a test drive for a minimum of 30-40 minutes in all types of traffic and road conditions.

I bought Nissan Magnite from MR Nissan Amritsar on 17th January 2024. They sold a car to Me without providing me any temporary or Permanent number. I got my car documents after I involved local police. Nissan India ne koi help nhi ki. Dealership ke uper koi action nhi liya. Dealership was running without valid Trade Certificate which is against RTO/Govt of India rules. 420 ka case bnta h Dealership and Nissan India per. Jo car muje sell ki Nissan magnite Ezshift vo car model approve hi nhi hai J&K state mein. Dealership and Nissan regional Manager they all are responsible for this fraud. My car is parked in the house from last 40 days. Nissan india ne koi Compensation nhi diya naa Dealership per koi action liya. Mein full payment ki thi Cash 8.09lakh.
I request all Indians don't buy this car.
Sir omni,Santro or Eeco ka bhi karo same ❤
ii have a Nissan Magnite CVT turbo xv pre(o) Even I face the same issue with the car at high speed when we try to cut or overtake is not that stable but after I installed a spoiler on the car The car is very stable on high speeds THE car just needs a spoiler.......aftermarket rest all good
Compact SUV's can't give you that instantaneous cuts at 100+speeds.
Automatic gears me Ek problem or h, raat me gear nhi dikhte qki usme light nhi h mtlb alluminited nhi h.

Medam ji sikh gaye etna jaldi.....she's pretty.....meh tho driving admission karvake aaya medam ji ko dekh ke.....she's a cute driver isn't it.....
