this is a really thorough review. I test drove the superb kombi the other day and despite me driving a c63 biturbo V8 daily (kombi also), i must say the skoda is FANTASTIC value for money. nothing bothered me. it drove so smoothly, so well, yet swiftly ! the diesel war really good. good acceleration.

Autogefühl said that there were no little wires in the heated windscreen, but other tech. You say that you can see the little wires. Which is the truth?
I don’t remember exactly i will check again anyway i have to review the sedan version soon. If i had said that probably i saw the little wires

This is Cobalt, Energy is basic non-metalic color.

Now this really is a superb review on a superb car. I've been driving the Superb III Combi since 70,000km - best car I ever had in every way. Looking forward to this new generation. The new one appears to me more like a refinement of its predecessor in terms of design and functionality. But I will go for the Selection package, as I am no friend of leather seats - they're too hot in summer and too cold in winter IMHO.
hence the standard heated/ventilated functions. work perfectly. ventilated was lovely during my last drive. felt refreshed
