Am I the only one who was shocked about Alan being undocumented? Not in a bad way but I just assumed he was born here just because he never talked about it. Don’t feel ashamed to talk about it Alan! I would love to hear your story in a future video if you’re comfortable of course!!!

As for the undocumented situation… you are so brave bc I know how scary how it can be. I am not undocumented but my husband was & I helped him & he recently saw his mom after so many years & it was super emotional. I hope you have the opportunity to become a citizen one day god willing! Praying for you 🙏🏼🙏🏼✨✨

As a full on undocumented immigrant I love this! I gave up and lost hope on getting daca or anything but you two and Danny are inspiring ❤
I’m so proud of you. You and Danny are so real and making this normal. Taking away the curtain and the shame that shouldn’t be there! Happy that Danny was able to find an option and hopefully in 5 years, you can also get that option to adjust.
This episode made me so sad. 😢 It brought so many sad memories. The USA was built in stolen indigenous land. We are all immigrants. We all have come to the USA to try to have a better Life. Let’s always remember that and try to be the best Americans that we can be by helping each other and making this a better place for everyone. You too are so inspiring. Truly loved this episode.

Until I was in high school I never knew many of my friends/classmates were undocumented bc DACA was finally available. My heart felt sad bc they felt they could never share this part of themselves but I’m happy to see that a lot of them now are very successful people and thriving in life.
I did not know of Melly’s existence, but seeing this and getting to know her made me love her . She is so humble and relatable . Def got a new follower here❤

My parents brought me to Texas and grew up scared of saying who I was, it was our secret, it made me feel less than. I had DACA, then got married and thank God now I’m a naturalized citizen. I've watched you for a couple years now and just want to say how much more I relate with you now. First it was bc I'm Mexican too but now I can relate on a different level as a dreamer. Just like you, its not that I was ashamed with telling people I was Mexican as a kid but bc their first question was "were you born here?" and I never wanted to answer. I'm 31 now and none of my friends from childhood besides my hispanic ones know I have DACA. You would think by now I would get over that fear but I still haven't. I've been in relationships that never knew just bc I was scared that we would fight and they would use it against me or call the migra. Anyway, I'm so proud of you for speaking about it bc I know how hard it is. Best Wishes Alan!❤

I’m only 20:22 in the video and I notice you ask the same question twice or 3 times . She also mention ages of things and then you will ask her again about what her age was that time. Do you write questions down before asking or do you just make up questions as the video start? I know you are not a professional and you are learning as you go but maybe this info would help.

I had a feeling you were undocumented because I wondered why you didn’t just marry Danny to help him with his green card process or go to Mexico to visit your family since you were so close to them but I understand it’s the damn trauma and fear & you’re on social media so there’s evil people out there who would use this information against you just to hurt you

It’s crazy to hear y’all pov on not being born in the us and unable to speak the English language… because growing up I was made fun of because I’m a dark skin Mexican who didn’t speak Spanish because my parents didn’t want me to go through the things they did as children…
I remember working as a teen and this mexican man who only spoke Spanish started to ask me questions and I looked at him and said sorry don’t speak Spanish and he gave me the ugliest face and started to degrade me in Spanish… I said I don’t speak never said I didn’t understand it!!!
