Superb video. The video footage, the bird sounds, the bird names, the commentary, all really high quality. I have read Jim Corbett's books many times over and over again, all my life. I too have been to see his house, and Corbett National Park several times. I never tire of it. Well done a great video, thank you for the hours and hours I know is put in to a video of this quality,

Thank you James for your very nice comments. We like you are avid Jim Corbett fans. At times on this trip it was rather emotional, when we walked the same paths as Jim around the Kanda forest rest house and when we came to Lohachaur and looked into a very old cabinet and saw dusty old books that Jim used to read when staying there.
Also it's good to get comments from people that are fully aware of the time it takes to make a decent length video.
Like you we have similar videos on our channel, which you may or may not be aware of. th-cam.com/channels/l7iJ0Mf9ZfU6NUVgHx756Q.htmlvideos
Once again thank you and look after yourself.

This is the best video on Corbett National Park that I've seen so far. I regularly search for documentaries about Corbett, but nothing comes close to this one. You've beautifully articulated your love for Corbett through this piece of art.
On a side note, I'm visiting Dhikala for a couple of nights this Nov 17 (commenting on Nov 01, 2023). I just wish for both of you to join in Corbett. Sending you warm wishes from India.

Nice to hear from you. The best forest Rest House is Dhikala but the other Rest Houses have their own charms. The only way we booked these was through an Indian Travel Agent. There used to be restrictions on how long you could stay. Also some Rest Houses don't have Restaurants so you have to take your own food. Please note that this was several years ago and things may have changed.
We have videoed the Brain Fever Bird (Common Hawk Cuckoo) in one of our other videos on India. See "Tigers and other wildlife of Central India".
