- She is Proof That Size Doesn't Matter in Volleyball !!! 160cm Short Player Supattra Pairoj. Supattra Pairoj (Thai: สุพัตรา ไพโรจน์; born 27 June 1990) is a Thai indoor volleyball player. She is a current member of the Thailand women's national volleyball team.

Height is not an issue if you play the libero. At 160cm or 5'2 for a libero is actually quite tall already. I knew libero players who are at 4'11 only. Lol!

Reality: A few inches shorter than other players.
What a senseless title.
Of course height does not matter in volleyball, if you only play defence.
But that is quite limiting anyways...
To really make volleyball appealing to all heights what should be done is to create different leagues for different height classes, a bit like in boxing there are different weight classes..

That's actually hypocrisy. For liberos, yes, because they do not need the height to defend the ball. And for some reason, due to being short, shorter liberos can easily dug the ball because the time they need bend and dig is shorter than their taller counterparts. But if you talk about volleyball, in general, size matters. Be a realist!
