I dont think it's a downfall. It happens. Some lose momentum, and some dont. To me, they're doing good. They have a crazy successful discography and have their own fair share of success. I hate that people want to compare their legacy to others and demand so much from them when no one knows what's it's like to work nonstop and carry a company on your backs for over 8 years. Some even consider their 2017 and 2018 an exploitation, those years for them were hell for sure, they were having 3 korean comebacks and 2 japanese comebacks and singles a year, youtube stuff, concerts, photoshoots, appearances in shows, end of the year award shows, promotions in korea and japan. Its sad that they did it all themselves, lowly budgeted music videos and songs, half assed marketing and promotions, and they have to work it out themselves. After alcohol free Twice felt different. The overworking has probably programmed them into keeping up with an agenda that is not worth it. I wonder jf they get anxiety when they're not doing a comeback or doing something, at least. I'm glad it's calmer while still carrying their own. I don't think Twice is at a downfall, AT ALL. Anyone who thinks that obv lacks common sense. They have a huge legacy, and they're K-pop ICONS, but i will admit that the company is slow. They dont know what directions to give their artists and groups. The reason is their low pay, which makes staff and people not want to work there or want to quit. Less money. Less minds. Less quality. They've come too far to give up and have sacrificed so much for the things they got. So i dont think they're going anywhere or will have a "downfall". But I understand the frustration that some fans have over the company and the quality their giving the group that saved their asses for years. They deserve the absolute best quality and treatment. Twice always do their part and try their best, but it sucks to see the company doesn't reciprocate it back.. Im taking it chill, excited for the best or the worst cause thats being a true fan, and im extremely proud of them. ONCE since 2016 and going on strong
I dont think this could have been said better. I 100% agree. I will forever be at once until the day I die, whether they are still very popular or they are at their downfall, i will support them no matter what.
Downfall? LOL Album sales and their recent tour proves they are not losing foot! Maybe in Korea due to 4th and 5th gen idols but that's normal as they are in their 10th year! Korean fans are somewhat fickle anyway. They are consistent with giving new music each year and now have moved to a variety of solo/sub-unit projects! How may groups have done that in the last decade? Not many. Oh and most importantly their personalities are still the same, their love for their fans and the way they perform as if they are rookies. I know this is just your opinion and you are free to share it but you are DEFINITELY WRONG!
Using the word “downfall” is obviously a clickbait. The girls are setting attendance records on their world tours and their new contracts are allowing them to do their own solo activities like having solo records, solo youtube channels, and solo movies. “Downfall” should only be used on people who are in control but suddenly lost it like a head of a company or a head of government. Samples like Vince McMahon and Rishi Sunak.
if not clickbating then just don’t understand the gravity of the word and just went “this sounds smart”.. instead of making youtube vids maybe need to focus on studies and hope it helps.
i dont think they necessarily had a "downfall". its more so that they just don't have the same impact as they used to in their earlier years and their fame has died down but tbf they've been a group for almost 10 years now so its normal.
They didnt lose much We as people just like novelty New groups pop up and we flock to them because they're different They're sonething new. And we forget too It be tough out there They did a lot and i have good memories with their music and videos
@RoyaleMusical and they are honestly what they used to be. Still making unique music, and showing people how it’s done. People just don’t stream because they’re into songs that sound the same lately..
I disagree with the choice of word "downfall". I think they've just settled into a spot a lot of groups fall into after a while. They may not be dominating the charts but they are still doing extremely well, like selling out concerts all over the globe, to they still have a dedicated fanbase. I get what you're trying to say though, I just disagree with the wording.
Twice has been a group for 10 years now, even after all these years they still stay true to their music without cursing and over sexualizing themselves to benefit the group unlike some of your favorite idols 🌝maybe they’re not as popular as they were when kpop was actually kpoping, not when ur comparing them to groups like lessarafim and blackpink etc they will never lose their footing are you crazy
I love to see twice become one of few groups that stay active thru out their lives like the western artist do. Jyp need to invest into the girls individually now if we wanna see them go long term but I think JYP just cares about getting more of a western audience now which is making their music bland. I think instead of a reality tv show (since we have time to twice anyways) I want to see drama based around the group that would be so cool because if they lack individualism that would be cool to keep them together. I think they need to focus on the Korean market again. Think of some new concepts. Base the new concepts around who they are now that they are adults .
Unfortunately the title tracks over the last few years have just felt far more formulaic and lazy than they used to and they aren't being backed up by the high quality b-sides like in previous comebacks. Even though they are still working hard it feels like Twice just isn't a priority anymore for both the members and the label which is understandable since they've been doing this for so long, but this attitude rubs off on fans and the general public, a similar thing has happened with Blackpink and other veteran groups. The problem is their international tours are by far the most profitable element of Twice so they have little to no time for genuinely effective marketing and promotion. I just hope this is a bit of a transitional period and they can all enjoy success individually soon, and if they just invest more time and effort into their comebacks even if they are less frequent I feel like they can get the magic back some day, it's definitely a shame to see how quickly they have lost their relevancy though
@RoyaleMusical Streams and views are just one facet, album sales and their recent tour said otherwise! They might be slowing down in Korea but have gained more international fans recently in fact! Agreed 👎 for this video from a fickle fan! 😂
songs aren’t that good compared to new gen. le sserafim, newjeans, aespa, illit all leaning towards melodic beats similar to hip hop. Twice still in that happy cheer pop music😂

? Girl twice is still charting.. people r just into different music now.. just look at their last comeback dive.
@RoyaleMusical girl sit down. why do u have such high expectations for twice? Dive INSTANTLY charted, like all of twices other hits. Do ur research
@RoyaleMusical they really are.. charting instantly nothing changed 🤷🏻♀️

Dude's skipping school just to upload a bullshit
Twinsies
I wouldn’t say they had a downfall it’s inevitable that south korea was gonna move on to newer groups the same thing happened when twice debuted
I love to see twice become one of few groups that stay active thru out their lives like the western artist do.
