- Toledo's Glass City River Wall is gaining national notice, most recently featured on CBS Sunday Morning.
There are 28 grain silos along the Maumee River in east Toledo that are included in this giant mural, and when all the painting's done, it'll be the largest artwork of its kind in the United States.

Gabe isn’t the artist he is actually just the designer. He actually hasn’t painted at all on the silos. There was an open call for art designs & his image was picked.
@@clarencee9764 that is semantics. A designer is an artist. And it is his artwork that is being painted on the silos.
I agree this was generated on a computer and is meh at best..it's 90% flowers that aren't even common locally..
It looks good from the west side. Maybe they can paint the other side so that the Eastsiders can enjoy it also.
Agreed I am and eastsider and I think they can put something over there
Gabe is the graphic designer not the artist of this project. Dean & and group of local artists are painting the sunflowers while Eric Henn is painting the portraits. Gabe hasn’t painted anything on the silos.
Eric Henn was the painter of the three portraits that came from photos. Eric is a Nationally known mural artist and has painted murals all over the country.
