Boat Floor Upgrade: Swapping Out Marine Carpet for Sleek Foam Mats!

Transitioning a boat from glued down Marine Carpet to a more modern Foam Mat isn't as easy as you may think. In this video we talk about how we transformed a customers boat and gave them everything they were hoping for.
To do this, we removed the old carpet and glue, stripped and sanded the floor, epoxied the floor, painted, caulked, and fabricated custom aluminum lockers and hatches to fill the voids left by removing the old carpet. We finished it off by patterning and installing brand new GatorStep Foam Mats.
The boat we did this on is a 2008 Moomba Mobius LSV but we're able to work with anything else on the water.
