This shows so much growth for Deborah and Ava's relationship, as she now begins to see herself as Ava's mentor. Also, if there are more seasons to this wonderful story, I hope that they explore the tragic aspects of this business more.

Look, I’d say there’s a decent chance that David Zaslav ends this show like he’s ending 1,000 others, and though I want more Hacks so bad, if this is the ending, it’s one of the best endings in recent TV. It’s not the feel-good ending, but it’s the complex one that makes sense.
