If someone has problems with Masaru because the motor, use ultra slim tires, but you have to use boost in the last 2 loops, it's gonna be a close match.
I swear, CourStar Race is the toughest one with the current customization you have at that moment. I was able to figure out every single race on my own without needing to boost (except the Rival Manager), but I spent close to an hour on CourStar without making any progress before I gave up and looked up the answer. Even than I still had to boost and almost fell off the track twice.
For Gou-ou go for ultra slick, ULTRA RUBBER, ultra godspeed, ultra boost, Reg battery, medium suspension and rainbow bow wing. A lot less buttonmashing
For those having issues with Ran's Rival Race: I replaced the Ultra Spiked Tires for Super Spiked Tires and with the extra points, I used the standard Side Stabilizer. This won me the race on my first try (though I did fall off near the beginning once). Good luck!
This guide actually works, holy shit. Thanks for nothing PowerPyx, half their car builds never work. Pro tip for others: Sometimes you randomly get knocked off the course. Not sure if it's actually random or affected by which lane you start in. But as counter intuitive as it sounds, sometimes repeating the same race with the same parts nets you a win instead of a loss. Makes no damn sense, lol
@machinegunspaghetti6075 it does work, it'll depend on which lane you start in due to the battery losing juice over the course of the race. Note the lane they're in to start the track and it'll work

FYI if anyone is having trouble with this guide's setup for Ami (I flew off the track on the inside corner twice near the end of the race), just downgrade the gears from the recommended "ultra balanced" to "super balanced" and you won't have to touch anything the whole race and will still win easily.

Any tips for the champion course time attack? I've looked at 4 guides (the only four I can find) and the best builds are a little sketchy (idc if I have to repeat a few times), but still don't break about 15-16sec laps. That's real far off from 55sec on 4 laps.
I have a pretty speedy car and I'm using the grass sections to lose speed before going up or down a ramp. I'm still not close to 55 seconds tho. Sometimes you kinda ask yourself if these things were even tested before the game was released. Rather than allowing creativity with your build it seems like this course requires a super specific build.
grand master cup kept fucking me over with the rng, but the build definitely works...just fair warning to all..Dont expect all the builds to work hundred percent of the time..but they do work

where do you find toru? edit: found him, you basically have to beat earlier rivals until he spawns as a stroll and patrol mission in the city, same thing with momozu or whatever her name is

Your build for the standard race isn't working, the grass terrain is still slowing me down dramatically, even with spiked tires on. Im always ending up last.
@@KaitoRyuga Thanks but I messed around a little, experimented, and found the problem. Not enough torque to push through, so I hunted for a better motor and found the High Torque MK 2. blitzed it easily afterward. Now I've finished the entire PC storyline 😅
I'm about to uninstall this game, because I cannot get past the stupid Rookie race. Either my copy is bugged, or I'm unlucky. I've tried 3 different builds (yours, CyricZ's and Powerpyx's), but each time, my piece of crap car flies off the track (as I run out of recovery). I am legit furious. If that POS pocket circuit car were real, I'd stomp it to pieces. I'm so done with Gaiden's pocket circuit crap. It was way better in 0 and Kiwami.
Courtstar is broken asf, making my own build I was struggling to keep up with the others with 70+ speed and 30+ accel, and then suddenly this build worked even tho it goes slow as hell, the game was rigged from the start

For those who keep on falling off in the Veteran race, I changed the super slick tires to super low profile tires. It worked on the first try.
Its interesting that the Teacher of the Manager(Pocket Circuit Fighter) was Kiryu. and now that Manager found a New Successor in Joryu.

You don't control the speed of your car, you only control how fast you see the race
