im not surprised by the durability... as a beginner rig i had the hosim 9125, with the dual brushed motors, and for almost 3 years i beat this truck like it owed my mom money... and the only thing i ever had to replace was the rear diff and do the washer hack on the bottom front ball joints once they started wearing out and popping out all the time. i got to the point where i almost felt bad for the truck because id do shit like jumping it off my house and it would just take it and keep going. now i run almost all mid and high end arrma but ill never forget about my hosim days.
I just found your video on this particular RC and I appreciate the review bc I have one coming in a couple of days. I bought the Laegendary Thunder and I'm getting this one for my wife. Looks like WE 😉 will have a lot of fun with this one. I say it like that bc I might be a little jealous... Lol. But idk yet. Thanks again! 😊

The car has IPX 4 water resistance which means it can take splashing water from every direction but can't be submerged, so it's fine no matter how many puddle you go across if you don't park in it.
@@HumlsHobbies The worst that i can say about these are the steering it's floppy so don't try top speed runs with stock servo it won't end well not even my stock rustler is safe with the basic ass servo 🤣 i already had an upgraded one and those died also that's Traxxas (TM) for you 😆
@@HumlsHobbies All my original parts are fine excluding the servo it's the second going out in 2,5 years it's the 4x4 VXL model and took some beating and top speed crashes scrathed up as fuck but still fine no breakage i guess servo is that shit.
Was thinking of buying this but many people reported throttle delay and a hard drag brake when releasing the throttle. Also that if you throttle in the air it tried to stabilize itself:/
Nice bash...so does it have 12th scale servo in it? I upgrade my 12th scale wltoy buggies with surpass metal servos they are exact demension as stock and a lot better..thanks

Great video, I just picked one up myself. Having budget RC’s this is the most expensive rc I have in my collection now. Hoping it holds up well!

Can confirm the drag break. It's a decent truck but definitely catch it on a sale!
