I'm really glad after all the years since I've discovered ToS that there's still some youtuber out there playing the game! Discovered your channel about a week ago when I remembered this game recently out of boredom. Never really got into it as a kid since the game was really hard for me to understand but now that I'm 17 and somewhat knowledgeable, I'm starting to learn the ropes of the game which is also thanks to you! I was playing classic and claimed I was an arso working with town when I was SK, I only had one person call me out and It was Mafia so no one believed him, I later won without having to claim ever again Edit: sorry not classic ranked practice

Yo Skimm I won my first game as WW in Ranked Practice today! I claimed Vet when I normally claim sheriff and when someone ccs vet when there were 5 ( three town, me, maf) I fought my butt off and we hanged the vet and then it was n6 and I attacked the confirmed spy and guess what? all of them went on the spy xD (although the spy didnt die bcs of doc but at that point it was only the two of us so it doesn’t really matter)
You started popping up in my recommended in january, I didnt know why I was here at first. I had played ToS a bit in high school like 4 years ago, but not since. You got me back into the game, and I've been playing ranked. Just made it to master about a week and a half ago, I'm addicted send help
Claiming you're LO and claiming you're an important ti is essentially the same thing, in fact claiming an important town in general doesn't change what happens compared to claiming your exact role, in most cases. Evils see you as an "important town" so you become a big threat that they gotta target. Also this town is so slow, John Willard asked if you were NE in whisper, when you are conf ret and jest is dead.
Town of Salem just doesn't work for me anymore. I try to log in and it tells me to request a password reset, so I enter my username and email in order to change my password, and it tells me that email isn't connected but I know for a fact that it is. So I tried to delete my account and it once again said that my email wasn't connected to the account. So I then tried to make a new account and I entered the SAME EXACT EMAIL and it said "The email address entered is already in use". This has been happening for about a month and I don't understand why. I haven't been able to play at all.
I think they need to take 2 days to revive. So say n2 ret decides to revive player x. D3 It will say Ret is trying to revive x! If ret dies the revive fails. Just an idea.
VFR is generally only a good situation in modes like Any All, where there can be little to no TI to drive discussion. In those games if people don’t claim town is doomed, cause nothing will happen.
Hey skimm, is that possible to make the random town counting a little bit more clear? Im kinda new to the game and there is kind of a language barrier to me to keep up with everything that goes of in the chat, it would be nice to count townies left on my own
In towns like this where everyone is participating and working things out it can be quite overwhelming as Jailor. With all those people whispering you and you yourself trying to keep track of claims in your will, and perhaps having to double check chat log at times, certain details can easily end up being missed in the chaos of it all. So I feel for Jailor this game lol. That said though, towns like this are the best towns to have.
Why do you only mark out the RT and not all the roles? It doesn't take up much more room to keep it all on one line and drop the number in next to the role. I never understood just tracking *only* the RT. Tuna Boat was giving off bad skum read vibes there, trusting a non-Town will. I totally forgot they were confirmed Medium. So many confirmed Town just really sucks for evil so bad. Ret bringing back a dead to confirm a Medium makes three confirmed Town right there and depending on the other roles around it's easy to confirm things. Thanks for the video Skimm.
I’m very sad. I tried to login to my tos account but they said I needed to change my pass, I tried with my email, but it didn’t work. I emailed them and haven’t heard back from them 😔 this really sucks too since I had the coven expansion and a skin that’s not sold anymore

I got into ToS from your videos, i randomly got recommended your videos and started binge watching all of them i could find.. Where the hell did you come from
Just had a consort game. Told my GF to claim Sheriff, and find me as susp. He got confirmed D3 (another sheriff found NK,-sk, they exed that) Jailor jailed and executed me N2 and gf was confirmed. It went down to GF Exe, vs Jailor LO. Jailor believed GF/"Sheriff" was confirmed, and exed LO. While GF got the jailor. That was the most chaos I've caused in a long time and I'm so glad it worked out.
I DO know why I'm hereee! I always claim ret at ret, ret is op so I like to give evils the chance to kill me off. But they think I'm vet baiting so they never do 😂
The thing I hate most about being Ret is when town accuses you of throwing Bc you bring back a LO or TP instead of jailor or when you get jailed and executed Bc town told you to revive a vig night 2 (useless res) and you don’t.
Which is worse, stupid spy plays, I had a spy game where vigi shot me n2 even though I bugged the jailor and had a successful bug, it was the jailor and they jailed the sk. I put both wings together and I thought ok vigi can't shoot tonight and I died to vigi shot even though I found the spy bug, they accused me of being exe and vigi shot me when I caught the sk.
for me, I was gonna claim that the person I visited was jailed but I accidentally said "got Jailed" instead of "the person I visited was jailed". Got killed the next night

When you're town, the game is deduction. When you're mafia/nk, the game is lying convincingly and killing strategically.
