Yes the Altay tank has a lot of modern features and unlike other tanks a lot of things in the tank are locally made. This is the second active protection system made by Turkiye unlike other tanks, which most of them use Trophy APS made by Israel on their tanks expect Russia and China maybe.

I'm not exaggerating. Altay is one of the best MBTs in the world right now. It was supposed to enter the inventory years ago, but delayed thanks! to the German embargoes of MTU engine and RENK transmission. In the process, Turks have been looking for an alternative powerpack while developing their own. Except the powerpack, all critical components localized and readied for serial production. Currently, 2 Altays delivered with a new Korean powerpack and have been tested before serial production fully starts. No problem reported regarding them until now. It's announced that first Altay MBTs will use Korean powerpack, later ones will switch to the Turkish equivalents once they are ready. Conclusion, late but a great tank born after a bumpy road.

Totally wrong. İt's only "based" on the black panther. But as of today it shares only the hull where even that is different due to it's metal structure and components. On the other hand, combat managment system is locally developed by ASESLSAN. Armor by ROKETSAN. Even the main gun is different where the K2 uses L44 smoothbore, the Altay uses locally build and Rheinmetall licensed L55 smoothbore (same one on the Leopard A7). Active protection and optics are ASELSAN made. Finally, just because of it's based on the K2 doesn't mean that it's the same. As example, Türkiye commissioned Pirireis, it's first Type 214 submarine which is used by many nations like Greece and Portugal. But the turkish one is 3.5 meters longer, uses locally build weapons and countermesures, nose and flank array sonar which has been made by ASELSAN as well as the combat management system where the equivalents use the german build U2S combat managment system. Looks the same but is totally different. The locally build Type 214 has ASELSAN made towed array sonar where the counterparts don't have.

bmc en fazla zırhlı araç ihracatı yapan firma, ürünlerinin hakkını yememek lazım. ukrayna'daki başarısı ortada. otokar yüksek ücret çıkardı. onda kalsa motor, şanzıman, elektronikler ve silah sistemleri, zırh boykotu varken nasıl yapacaktı? şu an bmc'nin en güzel yaptığı şey batu motoru ve şanzımanı , bu tankın ileride ihracatının önünü açıyor. elektronik,silah sistemleri zırh v.b. şu an ALTAY ilk yapıalcak tanklardan çok daha üstün üretilecek. Boykotun artısı bu oldu. akpliler kendi yandaşlarına, cehapeliler kendi yandaşlarına verilsin istiyor, sorun burada.
@@senolkoyuncu8321Otokar ve FNSS aynı teklifi verdi çünkü maliyet belli. BMC’nin paletli zırhlı tecrübesi yoktu, hala yok. Rheinmetal ortaklığını (sadece motoru değil) Almanya veto edince tank ortada kaldı. BMC paletli zırhlı araçta tecrübeli filan değil asıl tecrübeli olan FNSS tankı yapan da OTOKAR ama bedava tank palet fabrikası, bedava hazine arazileri vs alacaklarını bilselerdi onlar da düşük teklif verebilirdi. Altay Projesi bu hükümetin bu millete en büyük ayıplarından biridir.

Ortada olmayan tankın tanıtımı var ya 4 tane prototipten başka bir şey yok bunlarda Otokar tarafından yapılmıştır..bu proje BMC ye yani yandaşlara peşkeş çekilerek nasıl becerilemez örneğine dönüştürülmüştür.. Maalesef buna sebep olanlara saygılar sunuyorum 😡

Sizlere güzel bir haber vereyim Altay tankı için Batu Tank motoru 1500 beygir, ve Şanzumanı bitmiş durumda test aşamasında 2025 sonu Seri üretime geçecek . Diğer Motor üreticileri büyük oranda Pazar payını kaybedecekler . Motor son Teknoloji ve kalitenin sınırlarını diğer üreticileri zorlayacak bir Motor olarak ,üretilerek diğerlerinden üstün özellikler taşıyan Altay tankına büyük katkı sağlayacaktır. Ayrıca 400-600-1000 beygir motorlar bitmiştir . Artık bağımsız konuma gelmiş bir Sanayi , oluşmuştur. Şahin.

Totally wrong. İt's only "based" on the black panther. But as of today it shares only the hull where even that is different due to it's metal structure and components. On the other hand, combat managment system is locally developed by ASESLSAN. Armor by ROKETSAN. Even the main gun is different where the K2 uses L44 smoothbore, the Altay uses locally build and Rheinmetall licensed L55 smoothbore (same one on the Leopard A7). Active protection and optics are ASELSAN made.
Finally, just because of it's based on the K2 doesn't mean that it's the same.
As example, Türkiye commissioned Pirireis, it's first Type 214 submarine which is used by many nations like Greece and Portugal. But the turkish one is 3.5 meters longer, uses locally build weapons and countermesures, nose and flank array sonar which has been made by ASELSAN as well as the combat management system where the equivalents use the german build U2S combat managment system. Looks the same but is totally different.
The locally build Type 214 has ASELSAN made towed array sonar where the counterparts don't have.
