Thanks. Got my worm factory several years ago then emptied it and set it aside. Got it back out this week to restart it and needed a refresher course on its use since I misplaced the instruction booklet.
Excellent Directions, thank you. I see you do Bees but are you harvesting Maple asap? Just getting started and glad to see I can follow and comprehend your instructions. Good work and glad to see you have a productive life. God Bless you and your family.
Found your video extremely helpful. The supplier didn't include any set-up info for this product. Do you put the cardboard on each section before putting in the coconut coir? I'm in s.e. Florida and have set it up in the shade on my north-facing patio (under the eave). Should I put something heavy on the top to prevent other critters from getting inside. (We do have rodents here and iguanas are very prevalent.) Thanks for your video.
When they the tray gets full and has the texture of ground coffee. It will have to move to the top tray and allowed to dry to be the texture of ground coffee
I just bought my 360. First time worm farming. If I make two layers with the 360 as you did to start, when and why will the worms start to migrate up to the second layer if I consistently feed them on the first layer?
Check out the one year update on this bin. th-cam.com/video/EgSbuXAnPQY/w-d-xo.html

You mentioned the need for lights. Do the worms require lights 24/7?
They will crawl there way out of the 360 if they don't have a light on all the time
@@OkAdventure994 that is what I have done. We have. Trouble light suspended over the farm. Not a single worm has escaped! Thank you!
Great presentation Great job! 360 just arrived, missing parts.
Awesome, thank you!

Usually just the first section I put cardboard. Keeps the worms from falling down.
I require step by step instructions to accomplish tasks... so...thank YOU!!!
Thanks for the info, very helpful.
What do you do about the fruit flies?
At what stage do you harvest the worm castings? Thanks, Al

Can this be kept outside in the shade? I live in California where it’s super mild weather.
Thank you! Just starting my research. Did NOT know about the need for light! Does light need to be on at night too?
Mine is on 24/7

When you flip the bottom one to the top to allow the castings to dry and start feeding again on the new bottom one. They migrate to where the food is.
Hello, Does anyone know if I can raise nightcrawlers in this particular bin set up?
