This man's report and post was absolutely "spot-on". He saved me $300 by his detailed and exact guidance. He walked through everything necessary that needed to be done with excellent videos and descriptions. I could not be more pleased with this man !! 👍👏👍👏👍
Dude... Thank you for an in depth video... That side panel you had to pull down on with a pick tool was giving me fits till I saw this vid. You're only one that explained it correctly!
Just wanted to say thanks! Was helping my son swap out his headlights on his 2022 Ram 1500. Your video was perfect and solved a few mysteries that we couldn’t figure out. Keep posting quality videos like this!
Thanks for the video, I'm a tech and you saved me sooo much time, Alldata is wrong LOL, they don't tell you how to release the side panel LOL...Thanks again!
I'm here for the lower light panel. I should have seen this video yesterday. Would have saved my blood pressure and time. Thank you 🙏🏻 subscribed for this alone 🤣
Excellent video, thanks for the detailed instructions. I’m about to install LED light bars(small ones) in the grill on either side of the RAM emblem. I must say after searching and looking at many videos on this subject, your video was the best. Thanks.👍
Yes but clips won’t move so easily, take a flathead and push the clips in from the backside where they lock. Pull the flares at the same time and you’ll see an opportunity to remove it. Once you have the first 3 out the rest should undo easily.
It was done in a permanent paint finish which required me to remove the grille, a liquid spray wrap can be done without removing it if you decide to go that route.
Correct, it’s difficult to vinyl wrap but if you have it spray wrapped the grille can stay on. Spray wraps has that advantage vs a vinyl wrap because you don’t have to remove any parts.
@@newtouchauto is that what you did you spray wrapped? Since I've already had the outer parts of the frame wrapped I'd rather have the grill wrapped. So I just want to make sure that it can be done before I go ahead and start the. I imagine it's just a bunch of clips that hold the grill onto the grill frame
@@Unconventionalreefer no this vehicle was finished in a permanent paint finish. Yeah once you have the grille removed the clips are the last obstacle.
Thanks and I appreciate you for watching the video. I’m open to hearing your pitch on the sponsored products, you can reach me by email newtouchauto@yahoo.com
Changed headlights yesterday…. The wheel well liners and the fender flares were the pain in the a**… putting the liner back properly and removing the flares… def popped some clips and cracked an internal piece that holds one of the clips on both fenders but all in all I successfully changed the lights and everybody thinks they look dope. 🫡 wil buy more clips as replacements if I can.
Thanks for watching the video and sharing your experience. It’s normal to break a few clips when disassembling any parts but at least they’re at our local auto parts stores. I’m glad that you were successful with your installation though.

curious - where are you getting power for those?
I'm thinking of adding LED, but curious where you power them & if you add a switch in the cab.
@ getting power from battery positive. Look up their install videos on American trucks that’s where I got mine. And watched their videos
Saved me on the front corner panels. Thanks you!!

also a good idea to clean the wiper fluid pump filter.
(I'm here - betting others are too) to see this so I can repair the reservoir pump)
It’s always good to clean hard to reach areas when parts have been removed, a benefit for those who like to work on their own personal vehicles.
Thanks for the info
You’re welcome and thank you for watching the video.
You make this look a lot easier than it was 😅
😆 I didn’t enjoy it at all until everything was put back together. Thanks for watching the video.
How do you remove the fender flare clips? Just pull on the flare?
Yes but clips won’t move so easily, take a flathead and push the clips in from the backside where they lock. Pull the flares at the same time and you’ll see an opportunity to remove it. Once you have the first 3 out the rest should undo easily.
Awesome!

How did you blackout the grille? I’m deciding between wrapping or painting…
It was done in a permanent paint finish which required me to remove the grille, a liquid spray wrap can be done without removing it if you decide to go that route.
@@newtouchautoIs the paint fairly durable?
@@pjfan173 Yes, with the proper steps completed before painting no issues occurred.

Do the horizontal strips come apart from the frame of the grill? Im trying to have mine wrapped and the shop said it needs to be disassembled first
