Welp, nothing lasts forever. You do have a nice stock pile of metal for future projects. That stuff does have some good value. I can't imagine what it would cost to buy it. Nice score from the plasma guy over the years. Have a good weekend.
I would think if you went to the metal place and bought those 2 eye beams and those 2 exact sizes. It would probably be over two hundred dollars.... I don't know for sure but it wouldn't surprise me..
Bert, hope everything is going okay with you and the family. It's been 12 days since your last video ( as of 2pm here)...lol...my son & I just love your stuff. As far as plasma guy closing, no worries dude, you will be just fine..get it Bert, you are a true hustler with lots of skills and irons-in-the-fire and they all lead to $$$$$ 👍👍 Merry Christmas, Kenny in Tampa
Definitely.... The biggest pain is the slag. It's pretty much impossible to get rid of unless you put it in something.... It would literally have to go in a dumpster... Is with the fork lift and you definitely couldn't overload it.
That suck, but maybe you can make a deal with the new owner - that would be great. At least you got some fine pieces of steel for some of your projects, and steel isn't exactly cheap nowadays! 😬 Recently I bought a 600 x 500 x 1 mm stainless steel sheet for my computer table, where the veneer table top was scratched and generally worn down, and that piece of metal sat me back the equivalent of $150,00. Yikes!!!
If I lived closer to you I would give you a hundred for the fire pit. My cabin near State College Pa. would be a great place for that fire pit. Damn, I like it. It would be great for me. Hell , I would give you $150.00 for it.
Yes Bert - You will miss the "Plasma Guy" - some heavy Steel You pulled from him - well that's how the Scrap Ball bounces - You win some - You loose some - hey - maybe more Lockers from now on ?! Nice Wooden Racking for Your Metal Sheet - well done Bert ! End of an Era and Yes - that will make a Super Fire Pit ! Great Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
How you'll do all right? I love that kind of stuff. I was picking it up and putting it away but it got to the point where I was just picking up too much of that stuff and never did use it. So I cleaned out my little stash and got some good money out of it. But oh it'll come more. Don't worry about it. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
@@savagenomore Yeah, there's a fine line between being a hoarder and just keeping the good stuff for later use. I would say, if you can keep it out of your house, you're good, the same moment you start to stack up piles of scrap inside your home, you're a hoarder and should seek help.
I see truck repair parts suitable for holding the Great Rust Fleet together. All good things come to an end. (the bad stuff seems to be eternal.)
Definitely keeping the fleet together
Dont worry Bert if one door closes another one opens , hopefully its a metal door 😊
Ahhh the sounds of steel
That’s Super Cool Fire Pit I live Newmarket Canada How much for delivery

Bert, i think you keep more scrap than you scrap.
One could only hope
End of an ERA here too ! ☝️🧐
I am scrapping my
O2 Lexus ! 🤺👇🤠
That's a pity, hope the guy did well from the sale.
Take care that you don't turn into a hoarder-it's easy to cross that line!
Hoarders always say I will need that in the future.
I’m a hoarder 😃
@@goldiegolden2254yes 😃
Great idea to stack the great metal for you to use on future projects
537 - THS
The grass looks kinda green
Still probably hasn’t gotten really cold yet 🤔
Spray your steel with 10 WD 30 Rust Free
I was just gonna put a couple oil changes in a pump sprayer....
Oh wow that is too bad. you did well with that stuff.. guess its a sign of the times.. good luck with the new guy
those round disc and plates make good hanging shooting targets if you weld a couple short lengths of chain on them.
Definitely a big loss Brent and Good saving some good pieces
Hopefully the new owner will be in need of your services. 👍
You can become the next Plasma guy...

All good things come to an end!!!$$$
I enjoy watching you

Good stuff Bert!
Bert sell these discs at the market for 22LR targets. Just saying.

love it
At least you got to haul the tons and tons from him in the years he was open.

@@ScrapFarm You could put it in 1 gal or 4 gallon metal buckets and then dump it off at the yard with the buckets.

How is fred.
I'm pretty sure he's OK I really can't do no all day. Freddie missions I wish I could...
Will you ever use all that stuff?
Probably not......the scrap yard will in the end
You should make those round discs into Target plates and sell them at the market
They're just mild steel...

Onwards and upwards Burt, grow that hoard.
looks like a good supply of s 10 patches
Bert I love stainless steel!!!!
Nice score
i bet in 10 years time you will still have that stock metal, just in case yea we all think the same it just might come in for some think.
Worst case scenario it can go to the scrapyard at any time...
I am living proof of this....lol....but I made the decision yesterday that I'm getting rid of it all
@@savagenomore For sure like I said that decision can be made at any time for any reason....
