I used to enjoy going there, but then discovered Laughlin, NV, where snowchains are NEVER required because they NEVER have ANY snow there......and have NOT since the last Ice Age!, anyway, oh say, about 60 million years ago...and, where one can sip their Mango Margaritas while watching the Colorado River gracefully flow nearby! BHE
the prices are sickening and horrible, season passes of $500 or $79 for a day? I know inflation is everywhere but a lot better cheaper if I go find some other mountain empty terrain for free, Omg!

Ha I made it up there in my front wheel drive hyundai with chains on March 1st in 2023 one of their biggest snow storms in 30 years
That's right. The heroes decide if you can travel to "public" land. Got to keep the cattle in their pens.
Tf? More like got to make sure the people don't get hurt going to these public places.
Just got back from Tonopah, lots of snow there!
As a local I am rolling my eyes. Locals stay home.

They didn’t warn of wild life nor avalanche danger. I guess they wait till after the fact just like that car and no chains🙄
