MTA Bus Company: My random Eastchester Bus Depot shots in the Summer of 2014.

- Here we have a video showcasing some of the photos I took over at the Eastchester bus depot, where most of the retired buses are being placed on hold before getting scrapped or being preserved in case of any emergency. These photos were taken on three separate occasions, I threw in a small clip at the end and put in some music for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.

Back in the day those buses were very good
Nice, I wonder why the Nova RTS are retired in the Bronx. There is still a good amount of them running in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. I think the Nova RTS and the New Flyer D60HF Articulated should be used more in the Bronx.
1. They are plenty of D60HF's roaming in The Bronx.
2. West Farms is supposedly getting some RTS' back in service.
3. Some are going to be retired soon since the new XD40's and LFS's are coming in.
***** Its 4968-4977, but they're returning to ENY next month.
The wheelchair lift problem
Wow, that Orion 7 1st Gen (green) torn up. Is it that one that crashed in April, it looks like the one (6372).
***** It was, but now its been brought back in service.

Oops! I meant 5482 and 5419 not 5454.
I wonder why #9379 & a couple of QV's RTS were there. They're all back in service as of this posting though.

oops D60HF #5657 is there because not a crash is there due to a fire that bus got

GUYS orion VII HEV #6372 IS BACK from the dead that got was rebuit and fix from last year april bus crash orion vii hev #6372 is back in serivce

It was there back in May pending some repairs, though it was possibly being retired at one point after being there for only a short period at JFK. Its currently in service at this time.

I already knew that. Those buses are usually in the reserve lot near the post office. Not sure why it needed to be stated in complete capital letters though.
oops sorry:( but the buses look so damaged
Naturally due to age if referring to the scrap units. Outside of that, the whole damaged thing is exaggerated. The buses today are in way better condition than they were say a decade ago.
