love the honesty. just because their is not a Jesus lyric or a God lyric in everyone one of their songs doesn't mean these guys are not Christians!!!. most of the criticism comes from the church and i'm REALLY getting tired of it as most of my other brothers(in the Lord) are as well. keep preachin' it bro's!!. Sonnys lyrics and testimony is why I came back to the Lord! I was listening to Murdered Love and read the cd credits ect. Sonny thanked God, and that was the moment I realized there was more to this band than just music. I grew up in private Christian school and my parents were born again believers. My father went through the seminary at Bob Jones university in SC. He had a very legalistic view of salvation. I was taught that any music with drums was pagan and had pagan influences. Sonny and the Lord showed me that the message and meaning are what's important. God made all sound, it's only evil if the intent and lyrics are evil. Music, symbolism, tattoos, ect are only bad if they are intended to be. God knows our hearts! God bless you Sonny!

hmm that's odd.. I listened to POD the whole time I wasn't saved. I NEVER got a glimpse of Jesus from any POD song. Praise the lord for this testimony anyway.
you werent listening to their interviews then,romans 1 god shows himself in nature,they have a big platform becouse of their music about god,feeling alive,southtown,open up your eyes.
There lyrics are very poetic and obscure but once you know how big Jesus is in their life, it's so clear that they sing about him and also their song Follow Me literally quotes from the Bible I love it!
The bible also speaks of our state before Christ... We are: dead, enslaved, blind, hard-hearted, God-haters, deaf, not able to understand the spiritual things, a darkened mind with no understanding, and under the power of Satan. Praise God that He saved us in that state and didn't leave us there to perish in an eternal Hell. My only boast is Christ. However, Sonny has some wonky theology. But Christ is still shaping each one of us. To the glory of God alone.
yeah I hear what you're saying man but you hiding behind those glasses I can't see your eyes and I've come to understand some of the symbolism that's on some of your records and I have to question this day and age the source of some of the designs that you have allowed to be promoted certainly is not representing the kingdom so with that said can we see your eyes the window to your soul want to know are you truly serving the lord Jesus Christ I have you gone astray based off of whatever subjections you put yourself under that you have not maybe received answers not found or fit?
