15 Minute Meditation for Depression | Trauma Informed Yoga

  • This meditation for depression practice invites you to tune into any emotions related to sadness, hopelessness, loneliness, fear, or heaviness and process through these. You will be guided into a restorative yoga posture as you breathe, release, and invite in anything that you need.
    Needed:
    1 yoga bolster (or a couple of firm pillows)
    2 yoga blocks (or some additional pillows)
    A blanket or two for extra comfort
    This is a great beginner yoga practice and incorporates concepts of Trauma Informed Yoga as a way to start or deepen your mental health journey in order to feel more calm, regulated, and at ease daily. Yoga for mental health is a wonderful resource to add to your toolbox for self-improvement.
