Although the Tudor has the superior movement, a better bracelet, and comes in at a substantially lower price, I prefer the Breitling, based on looks. I find that black and white dial very attractive!
I was about to write the same thing! I've actually tried on the Super Ocean, at an AD fairly local to me. I didn't, couldn't justify the price, and if I could, I'd be buying it from Brad (Brent Miller is about an hour away from me).
@@scottwexlin6456 I understand-I haven't tried the Breitling on, but I think I'm going to have to give it a try and see how it looks on my wrist!
Tudor for the win!
I love Tudor. Love. I saw this Breitling at the cigar shop. It's amazing in person. Again, my next watch will likely be a Tudor but the Breitling is better.
There's no comparison here. The Tudor looks so beautiful! But I'd take the Breitling. So much more refined and substantial and elegant in every way.

The breitling is just Stunning!! I love the yellow gold logo they always put at the top it's so gorgeous 😍..and because they included the tool free adjustment i don't see any reason to choose the Tudor.. breitling by a mile..wow what a gorgeous piece..i wish they had the superocean in Two with yellow gold
Gotta go with the Tudor. Another close call. Breitling is sportier but the Tudor has a more classic look IMO.
I can't stop looking at the brietling ..tudor obviously a better quality movement but wow brietling looks great .

Tudor looks more refined, Im going to get one of the new 41mm, cant decide between the Burgundy or Black, im about 1hr 15min away from your store, was thinking about stopping in for one of the Tudors
I would go for The Tudor as well. I like Bretling but all things considered definitely the Tudor.

Always thought the Tudor would be the bees knees until I checked both at an AD. The Breitling just looks, feels, and wears so much more refined than the Tudor. Yes, the Tudor has the better movement, but the Breitling is head and shoulders above the Tudor in refinement. I highly encourage everyone to try check them out and not just rely on your phone,
If you think this breitling is “refined” then you clearly don’t have much experience with luxury timepieces. It’s very cheaply done from the bracelet to the bezel. Way overpriced for its level of build.
@@whereRbearsTeethIf you want to make a statement, aesthetically, the Breitling SO is superior to the Tudor. Go and try both on, it's easy to see.
Granted the Tudor movement is better but case, crystal, bezel and I would say bracelet too, are superior on the SO. In the end your not looking at the movement at this price point. If you want to do movement properly, you have to up budget. Design is important in a dive watch and for that the Breitling takes a win here.
You are correct a Breitling is not haute horology. You are incorrect in assuming I’m unfamiliar with watches and brands that produce beautifully finished casing and bracelets, but what we are discussing here is not that. These are all mass produced products. I would encourage you to try on a watch from Breitling’s Premier line if you would like to experience a beautifully made watch. Now since these are all mass produced products, I can tell you that the Breitling has better finishing, better fit, better base and bracelet design than a Tudor. I’d say Rolex makes the best mass produce watch, with Breitling a second when it comes to case/bracelet design. If we are solely referring to the middle market divers the Breitling simply is a more refined watch than the Tudor and casing/ bezel feel is much nicer than even the Omega SMP. Unfortunately it’s impossible to pick up on these nuances by watching a TH-cam video.
To be totally fair, it should be an all black BB vs this Breitling. That beautiful burgundy bezel gives Tudor the win in my book

Tudor for me. Power reserve on Breitling poor and the clasp seems bulky. You forgot to try the watches on your wrist like you usually do.

Tudor people are default Rolex people so they overrate the brand, tudor is not at Breitling league, not even at Longines league, let alone Omega, tudor need to relax, they are not IT, this Breitling is by far and beyond in its own league, alongside this tudor!

I read some stupid comments in the watch community, and this is one of those times.
The Breitling non chrono movements are nowhere near as good as the Tudor calibres, whatever the various attributes of the Breitling.
