I just watched a video about the 2024 Travato GL and was surprised to see that a lot of your mods are now standard in the new models.
Yes very true. Winnebago listens to their audience and also asks owners how to improve. This is standard for most companies but I e been particularly involved with WGO

NIce list but completely different than my 18G....I did the same thermostatic faucet in bathroom but added a propane instant on hot water heater on the back door for instant hot water instead of messing with the Truma. Also did 3 inch lift, 4 lithium batteries in Roddy Walker stainless trays, a Victron 3,000 watt inverter, DCDC charger, and MPPT Controller. Have 3 275 watt solar panels , a larger kitchen sink and long neck kitchen faucet, cut 5 inch of the table, magnetic window covers for all windows and vent fan. Just ordered and waiting for a Tochta hinge 8 inch mattress. I use Starlink for internet and instead of tv on your swivel mount, I put a Apple Computer ...another upgrade was Blitzen read shocks and replaced Coleman A/C with Houghton as it is much quieter and also has heater. Would be nice to meetup somewhere to compare mods.

Love everything you did to your Travato! As someone that does a lot of stealth camping a 4 channel camera system would bring a lot of peace of mind. What brand is that and where can I get it?
PS: That roof is next level!
Can't remember what brand, but it is a simple amazon purchase with many manufacturers rebranding the same product. Today, I'm sure you can find a similar unit with many more features for a similar price.
@@MarcusStokes I'll look around. Having a 4 camera system is great for peace of mind. Even better if it can record too. Please let me know when the MSCS camera package is available! I'll buy it!
Marcus, i recently bought a used 2018 Travato that has that same passenger side u-shaped steel back rest for the bench seat. Even has that same little rectangle bar under the top bar. Where did you buy the U-shaped steel bar? My dog bent it and I need to buy a new one :( Hope you read this.
This was a mod that another user posted. Check the Facebook page and do a search. I think the part is for a handle to help people get into bed.
The item is from the store Aldi and the instructions are in the files section of the Facebook group travato owners and wannabees

No, but James basically did a video on how to cut into the back. Use the fitrv video as a guide and then just buy the hatch. You can contact me if you have questions.
Can you provide some information on the window change out? I have a 2021 GL and have a pop out window installed that will get knocked off if you open the sliding door.
Hi there. I didn't have to swap the window as my 2017G didn't have one in that location. So, all I had to do was cut a hole and install the window. For you, as long as the new window is larger, I'm guessing you could just swap it out with a bit of cutting.

The roof deck is not practical.
Why not? For me it is beyond practical and it's amazing to get up top and watch the scenery. Maybe explain your opinion a bit???
