We need our very own stealth bomber or just a bomber
Bombers don't have a physical use in modern day war fares. We have mirage for deep strikes roles
@9ParaSF a bomber is more of a headache. Do you know that they take way more maintenance + need continuous assistance. They cannot fly alone and don't do anything other than bombing and reconisance. Most importantly bombers are important oversee operations when you fly from one place to other bomb and comeback. Here in india our Rafales can strike without leaving airspace. Also don't forget that bombers have no great at defensive roles
@@abhayn1895 Bombers are important, Modern stealth bombers can carry huge weight and drop that load almost anywhere in the world. After air supremacy has been established, stealth bombers can help a lot. However they aren't important enough for us to waste out time, energy and money on them which we can use on other more important things like Modern fighters, wingman's etc.
@@sonuchauhan-ne3cj look at our country's ambition first. We are not interested in global conflicts but are more defensive. Bombers are useless for purpose of defence. And as far as I am concerned we have strategy bombers like mirage. Tactical bombers aren't necessary for our air force and defence structure
@@abhayn1895 We aren't interested but we need to be prepared for that. If we want to become a superpower someday, we will need defense equipments to back our words.
And honesty, we need a military which will be able to dominate anywhere in the world because our enemy China wants to do that. To counter China we will have to get out our shell and go offensive. And we will need capabilities to operate anywhere in the world for that.
However, i still don't think Bombers are worth our investment right now. Only airforce can tell us.

Interesting facts about Aura project ie. Ghatak UCAV . I think it's worth to make it a bomber drone & use it as loyal wingman too along with AMCA fighter aircraft.
In Aura instead of Russia engine it will power by kaveri engine which produces dry trust 52kn according to media

I think AURA is the aircraft which is truly intended to replace Jaguars and Mig-27, and even the already retired Mig-23 in IAF, and I think this is the reason why IAF didn't go for the newly developed Su-34 Russian bombers during the last decades, and I also strongly believe that they (DRDO) are also going to make its larger and manned version powered with two non-afterburning turbofan version of AMCA's engine in next decade .

Future wars will be less man power, more effectiveness. I think our research in drones is quite remarkable. I think more applications of drones need to be invented. Even the hydrogen based power vehicles in Army must be included like what we are trying for replacing the four wheelers or fossil oils. I had seen one of the engineer from AP making/converting vehicles which can run with water. If the entire fleet of army vehicles are converted with such machinery, the cost of maintenance of such vehicles will be much much cheaper. Hydrogen energy is cheaper, safer and eco friendly.

When Ghatak uses kaveri Engine then why it carries only 2 bombs , I think your info is wrong .
Ghatak,s weight is not 8 tone it's weight is 15 tone .

It can't be used as a bomber. Even it is behind MQ 9 in weapon carrying capacity
