Even one of their long time guitarists said he didn’t know Robin well bc he didn’t mingle with them like Maurice did (in the movie about them a couple years ago). Maurice is more of a talker if it’s just the 2 of them, but they are both well spoken.

Barry was also beside himself when Mo died. After all, they lived in Miami together for almost 30 years, raising their families & working together. That was almost as strong of a bond as the twin thing. After all, it was Mo who used to call them triplets.

So love seeing the twins together!..the last question: Will we see the BeeGees in the year 2000?..Robin: Absolutely!..Mo: Yes!..I'm not doing anything!...yes we did see them in 2000, but only for a couple years after..had Mo survived I believe they would have been putting out new music and touring for at least a few more years.
+ Gloria. Not so sure how much longer the brothers would have stayed together. Barry was slowing down and wanted to do things away from the twins. Robin was a lifer, he wasn't walking away from musc. But I think he would have been much different had he not loss his twin. Twin deaths are extremely hard. Mo's death tore Robin apart, something he wasn't able to deal with. Had Mo live he probably would have continued to work with he kids, run Commander Mo's, and of course, help Robin on his solo stuff as he always had.
kitty larue Think you might be right about Barry...coz in the last couple of interviews ..about a year or so before Mo passed..Barry seemed on 'Edge' about something?..a 'tension' there in both his body-language as well as voice.. that I'd never noticed before. Even in their last M. Parkinson interview it was apparent..and as you well know, he should have felt completely relaxed as Michael Always showed respect for the Brothers and seemed to really enjoy having them on his show....I know this was right after the Clive Anderson walk-off..but what I'm saying is, both Robin and Mo seemed to be very relaxed and enjoying themselves. As far as Robin dealing with Mo's death..not long before Robins own passing, ..when filming 'Who Do You Think You Are?'..right at the beginning of it Robin said, and I'm paraphrasing here.."I live in Two Realities..One in which I know and understand that Morris is Gone..and the Other Reality.. where he Can't be Gone!"
Gloria, this interview was not right after the infamous Clive walkout. This was done in 91. Clive was 97, which Robin was sporting his ah natural locks right about the time he decided to acquire that most dreadful rug. Look at Robin's hair, but more importantly, look at the title. Lol.

Don't hate. Barry always felt the need to protect his brothers no matter how old they was that included Andy too. I'm sure his father would say look out for your brothers, because you are the big brother.I'm sure Barry happily took on that role. No matter how much you love family you won't always agree I know.sometimes you do need a little time apart.even they agreed they was better together than apart.they all had unreleased albums when they got back together those solo albums were not released..I have a older sister a older brother then I'm in middle, I have bossy sister under me a mother brother and baby sister. Me and my baby sister have close bond. We don't always agree. We give each other space. It happens in all families whether a there two or more. I loved all the brothers. No matter what they loved each other now all we have is Barry. No need bring up the past. When they were separated, Maurice worked with both robin and Barry. So love seeing the twins together!..the last question: Will we see the BeeGees in the year 2000?..Robin: Absolutely!..Mo: Yes!..I'm not doing anything!...yes we did see them in 2000, but only for a couple years after..had Mo survived I believe they would have been putting out new music and touring for at least a few more years.
+ Gloria. Not so sure how much longer the brothers would have stayed together. Barry was slowing down and wanted to do things away from the twins. Robin was a lifer, he wasn't walking away from musc. But I think he would have been much different had he not loss his twin. Twin deaths are extremely hard. Mo's death tore Robin apart, something he wasn't able to deal with. Had Mo live he probably would have continued to work with he kids, run Commander Mo's, and of course, help Robin on his solo stuff as he always had.
kitty larue Think you might be right about Barry...coz in the last couple of interviews ..about a year or so before Mo passed..Barry seemed on 'Edge' about something?..a 'tension' there in both his body-language as well as voice.. that I'd never noticed before. Even in their last M. Parkinson interview it was apparent..and as you well know, he should have felt completely relaxed as Michael Always showed respect for the Brothers and seemed to really enjoy having them on his show....I know this was right after the Clive Anderson walk-off..but what I'm saying is, both Robin and Mo seemed to be very relaxed and enjoying themselves. As far as Robin dealing with Mo's death..not long before Robins own passing, ..when filming 'Who Do You Think You Are?'..right at the beginning of it Robin said, and I'm paraphrasing here.."I live in Two Realities..One in which I know and understand that Morris is Gone..and the Other Reality.. where he Can't be Gone!"
Gloria, this interview was not right after the infamous Clive walkout. This was done in 91. Clive was 97, which Robin was sporting his ah natural locks right about the time he decided to acquire that most dreadful rug. Look at Robin's hair, but more importantly, look at the title. Lol.
kitty larue Kitty...I wasn't talking about This interview...talking bout the interview they did with Michael Parkinson..and even Michael made mention saying something to the effect of "Okay now...your not going to walk out on me are you?!".....alluding to their Clive Anderson walk off....and they all kinda laughed and joked about it ..saying "no, your gonna walk out on us!"..or something like that.....

Carol Luzzi , I have been watching interviews with Robin. They were so pleasant and actually made sense. I like Barry, but he did talk over Robin and Mo. ❤️🌹❤️
Don't hate. Barry always felt the need to protect his brothers no matter how old they was that included Andy too. I'm sure his father would say look out for your brothers, because you are the big brother.I'm sure Barry happily took on that role. No matter how much you love family you won't always agree I know.sometimes you do need a little time apart.even they agreed they was better together than apart.they all had unreleased albums when they got back together those solo albums were not released..I have a older sister a older brother then I'm in middle, I have bossy sister under me a mother brother and baby sister. Me and my baby sister have close bond. We don't always agree. We give each other space. It happens in all families whether a there two or more. I loved all the brothers. No matter what they loved each other now all we have is Barry. No need bring up the past. When they were separated, Maurice worked with both robin and Barry. Showing he was there for which ever brother needed him. I know what's its light to be caught in the middle. Afa , loved all the Gibb brothers. Now and forever. N.a.JJ.
