9:15 it is posible and not hard im a mercy main and I do it all the time with my reaper friend. U need to hold the heal or dmg boost the entire time it folows to his new position so u can golow him with ga then. ( basicaly heal beam hin wait until he arives then ga.)

Can Genji deflect turrets from sym and torb. And can he deflect JQ's knife, Ramm's vortex and does his deflect nullify sig ult damage while aiming up
Bastion's artillery doesn't actually fire a projectile up, it only plays an animation, and the projectile drops from the sky, that's why you can't block it when he fires, only when it falls.
Also why you can’t get those shots blocked by a ceiling

Oh weird? I wonder if it depends where the arrow is on genji? Like if it's behind him I wonder if it still works 🤔 cause if it's in front that's makes sense cause it's falling through his deflect the second it detaches from him. But that also still means it has a projectile tag
Hmm theoretically you could drop it on someone's head than if the timing is just right and technically it should hurt them. That is a very obscure glitch 😅
I remember seeing something like this on Noobhunter, from a Dafran clip. The sonic arrow was in the DVA, she got cleansed & the arrow got deflected by the genji and it headshot Dafran. Pretty wild.

How much damage would it do? Because I think for regular deflect arrows you deal same damage as Hanzo based on his draw. Does arrow remember it's power or it's new value?

I think the game logic in blocking Sigma's Flux at 2:58 is because the damage "comes from" above due to the "gravity effect". Hence, the player blocks the "incoming damage from above"
and ow heroes don't take fall damage, so they just fall normally
There is no projectile going up, only animation so you obviously can’t block or eat it
Edit: for some reason I thought they were talking about bastions ult, didn’t check the time stamp, so my comment makes no sense.
Although if I had to guess it’s because the actual source of the damage is sig himself, so if the sig is at a higher altitude than you when the damage is done then it is done from above you, meaning blocking up reduces that damage. So if this right then if the sig is lower than you when you hit the ground (on a ledge while sig is still below mid ult) you should take damage from the bottom and it would behave more accurately. Needs more testing.
The damage does not come from above, you get smashed to the ground, it would make a bit more sense to block damage while looking down, but none of the 2 options are good, they should get the full damage in any direction, i hope it's a bug
It’s because, most likely, the dmg comes from a hitbox above the characters and not “fall dmg” or “gravity dmg”, for example if you are grounded by ramattras vortex and you get slammed even though you are like 5cm in the air you still get full dmg, that cause the way the move works, it lifts you up, quickly brings you to the ground, and then simultaneously brings down a hit box to dmg all the slammed players, by looking up you are effectively blocking this invisible hitbox. It has nothing to do with gravity or fall dmg
Most likely. Still is a complete bs and shouldn't be possible.

She actually can guardian angel to any distance from reaper tp or sombra translocator, you just need to keep the beam on them with guardian angel preferes beam target or facing target on. When ally teleports you can fly with ga across the map while the beam lingers on them
Lmao reminds me of flats spectating bronze when a mercy went of the map because the reaper disappeared.
Sounds interesting. Kind of like how a friendly Mei can't be targeted while in ice block, but if you were beaming her then the beam still lingers for that grace period.

same thing i was about to comment, the grace period before the beam disconnects can very much be used to GA to the reaper, there are a very few very specific uses for it tho (ive been playing quite a bit of bastion escape recently and its VERY useful there)

honestly the hog tip for symmetra is actually really good when you think about it, not only would it stop his hook, but also it would cancel out his right click if it gets close enough, and if he fails to kill them, then its free ult charge and temporary slow. no real downsides to tossing turrets at hog.
as a gm sym otp, I'd have to disagree. turrets are quite valuable and you shouldn't actively try to block the hook with turret as it can be really inconsistent in a real game. even if you block the hook, that's a turret cd wasted, which you could've used for more valuable purposes. I only really use this tech when I'm in a sticky situation. it's a cool tech to pull off tho and it always feels really good lol
If you read he's gonna hook and he tries someone standing near you instead, if the turret is close enough to him, it could still obstruct the hook too and save someone else. Definitely something I'll keep in mind.

7:50 an interesting interaction I saw with this on a stream clip once is that while the arrow is falling an enemy genji can deflect it and even kill with it
The reason for the wacky Rein/Orisa interaction with their charge abilities is due to the grab box of rein charge. If you have a bit of distance it’s just the normal hit box and the javelin spin takes priority.
For the last one, you can probably do it if you beam the reaper before shadowstep and then teleport to him before the beam break, if you have correctly configured your setting like KarQ told you to in another video.

If you turn on ga prefer beam target and beam the reaper you can fly to him. Beam breakage is not instantaneous so after the reaper teleports you can still ga to reaper. This works for heroes with teleport abilities like Kiriko too.

here's one: if ramattra is ulting, and an enemy kiriko cleanses everyone in the ult radius, will the ramattra's ult timer tick down for the duration of suzu?
The blocks negating damage from sigma Ult by looking up makes no sense 😭

One time, me and my friends were playing and a bastion used his ult. I’m an Orisa main so I thought, “Hmm, what if I try to stop the ult with my spin?” It ended up working successfully which was very interesting and cool to me.

There's a twitch clip where kiriko cleanses the sonic arrow way after it's been shot and a genji deflects it to headshot the hanzo. It's beautiful

GA does and has worked with Shadow Step btw, albeit with a long range limit (not sure how long but above the normal 30m). All you have to do to fly to him is put your Beam on him before the teleport and then GA to him with Prefer Beam Target On in the control settings (or Prefer Facing Target and then don't look at anyone else). Facing Target Only won't allow you to do this or fly to anyone without LoS, and beam stay attached for a few seconds at distance or between walls so...

i think bastions ult is only partially physical. what I mean in that when he fires, the bullet coming out of his barrel is purely cosmetic and the REAL shell only spawns directly above where it is supposed to land.
Looking up to block Flux damage really is the equivalent of a kid saying it can’t hurt me if I don’t see it.
Not a myth or anything, just a fun observation. I found out that Ramattra can block damage dealt by the workshop. I’m sure Doom can as well, but I didn’t try it with him

With Mercy you can’t GA to a shadow stepping Reaper raw but if you have your beam on them it stays connected for a second after someone has left your beam range and then you can GA to them if you have the right settings, same thing with Sombra she could translocate the other side of the map and as long as you have line of sight to where she ends up you could fly all the way over to her if you input GA before the beam breaks

The trouble with that ultimate is that since damage needs to be dealt from a direction in order for hitscan to work, that means that his ultimate deals damage upwards because that's where the accelerated gravity comes from so how does one fix that without causing a bug to hitscanners?
There was another thing I saw in a game. An ulting genji got caught in my sigma ult and dashed up. When he was slammed to the ground he took a lot less game than he should have.
at 5:40 I can't be sure but it's probably just the animation at the beginning, and the projectile actually isn't created until it falls
1.Can ramattra annihilation deal damage to sombra while she is hacking?
2. Does flux cancel bastions ult?
3. Does sombra stay invisible while in flux until she takes the 50% damage from slam?
4. Does echo have invulnerability frames when duplicating (so can she survive a dva bomb or avoid an earthshater) and can it cleanse (ash dynamite etc.)?
5. Does looking down block flux damage as well?

Well I can answer 3 and 4 for you iirc getting picked up reveals sombra and yes dupe has I frames very fun to dupe a nooning cass then to avoid death then fan the hammer him for bm

9:17 in the way of mercy,using GA to a teleporting reaper, you can go to the second position, if you have beam connected to the reaper, it starts.going to the first position but then corrects itself to the second, this was possible in ow1 and still is in ow2, this also applies to other characters such as trackers blink, symmertas telelporter, and other abilities that are more movement then teleporting, such as echo, phara and Hanno, but what it doesn't work for is Moiras fade, due to the bug where mercy beam disconnects when she uses the ability.
For the mercy one you can fly to the second location if the beam is attached since beam doesn’t break until after ≈1.5 seconds
Going along with the ravenous votrex myths, can ravenous votrex pull Bob down faster if he's thrown off a high ground ?
You can also charge at a rein from 90 degree angle to cancel his charge and hit him instead of you bumping into each other
I could be wrong but I assume the reason Rammattra and Doomfist can only block Sigma ult when looking up is because theres most likely an invisible los hitbox in the middle of it in the air so its able to capture everyone in the area properly. meaning theyd have to look up/at it to reduce its dmg. Though this is just my theory the hitbox could be even higher/lower or just be a bug.

A bunch of times I had to resort to keeping my orbs for the specific reason to kept a Sombra off my back if she's trying to solo me, or my team can't deal with her. Most of the time they end up leaving me alone or actually swap to something else.
You know that looking up thing while in flux might be a indication on where damage is actually being applied since there is no real fall damage method in the game. So there’s most likely a block that does damage that gets called in like a hero that does a burst of damage from above you.
For mercy ga, try turning on ga to beam target and hold beam while reaper(or any other character) teleports. I'm almost certain it works
Hey, I saw a cool thing where kiriko cleansed a honzo’s sonic and it fell off him onto his teammates head, killing them.
I'd like to see what happens when you use Ramattra's Ravenous Vortex and B.O.B. throws someone in the air
how are we almost 7 years into overwatch's lifespan and people still dont know that genji reflecting a projectile keeps the special properties of that projectile
People haven't necessarily played the game for 7 years
i guess that's fair but it's really not a hard concept to grasp, the projectile is just being shot back at them nothing about it is changing

Sombra's damage boost only requires the target to be hacked, it doesn't matter how. This means even if an enemy Sombra hacks them during deathmatch you get the boost as well
The looking up to block has to be patched, that is totally wonky and gives doom a free charged punch. No way they leave that one alone, but I do think it's interesting.
Well it is pretty funny and gives the best tank ult in the game something that needs that much more thought put into it
It's probably just cause its an invisible projectile that hard tracks an marked enemy tbh.

I might be tweaking but, it seems that if sombra self cancels her hack when in stealth and then goes for it instantly again, she will hack while fully invisible
I hacked Bob so many times as Sombra while in stealth. And he never comes back to activity until his spawn time is over

One time i accidentaly did guardian angel to a teleporting reaper and my bar was legit filled to the brim and when i pressed ctrl (crouch button) i went up really really high i coudnt even heal anyone from that height
Since a lot of people try to get off quick 2 kill deadeyes instead of a full charge, theoretically could Ramattra body block multiple squishy skull shots if his teammates stack on him/he charges Cassidy?
Yes, but I think if he's charged it enough to kill Ramattra, all the shots will still go through. Same goes for golden Orisa
@@jocloud31 If Ramattra is holding his block, he wont get a red skull for the entire duration of the charge, so he can definately live through it

SO to explain the Sigma weirdness, maybe the damage works like a pulse that travels down and applies the damage? There's no fall damage in OW so maybe that's how they accomplished the damage?
