Superb setup! After several spray tip failures and cracked tubes, I kept the bottles and replaced with Kwasar spray heads. No failure with both alkaline or acidic products. They work and look great.
I have owned 10 of these and have recently chosen just to keep the 6 I have left rather than order more bc of these issue you discussed. I’m excited for the future development of this sprayer as I do believe when they work they are by far best in the market.
Matt it's so cool to see you doing your thing. I very much relate to you because I'm cut from a similar cloth in that I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I'm always spending so much time researching the best parts to combine to make whatever it is I'm working on the best it can possibly be. Or much like yourself I 3D print or fabricate my own parts. It's a character trait that's both a blessing and a curse though. On one hand it's what's driven me to be successful and to deliver very high quality work in my career and it also makes everything I own above and beyond. On the contrary, it's incredibly time consuming, draining, expensive, and risk not finishing things because the pursuit of perfection took so long I ended up scrapping the idea or moving onto something else. But this is a big reason why I support you. I know you put the time and care into your products and I'd personally prefer to pay a bit more and know what I have is rock solid. So cheers!
As far as the labels go have you looked in the vinyl that the motocross guys use. It is made so it sticks to the abs plastic that out gases constantly. Just a thought.
had a thought......design a plastic tray for those aluminium shelves so the bottles go back on the shelf same distance apart every time or have a recess in the tray
Oh yeah, I know what you mean about dealing with suppliers. A supplier we no longer deal with for a $4,500 component x 4/month kept having quality issues. They were not willing to fix the issues (leaks, noises, major rework etc) and told us "you complain too much so kick rocks. We just won't sell to you anymore". People don't realize Pressol could just never sell you bottles again when all you are doing is trying to improve a product you really like.
Matt I’m with you on the “looks” of Pressol bottles. Hell, I even like the spray heads regardless of the failures. The price doesn’t even concern me. So why am I even bothering with the post? I’ll try to explain that in my way ……. Solo battery sprayers are legit better in every way … in my opinion. $40 a pop, so what. If I had to choose another spray bottle it would be Pressol but because I don’t have to choose, I have a full array of Solos. No, I’m not in to fancy hoses, reels, pipes, shelves or what ever for pressure washing. But I can certainly appreciate the cosmetics/aesthetics. My take on that, do what makes you happy … it’s all good. 😊😊😊
Pro Tip - pump a few sprays in the wash bucket after using them to rinse them out . Then you can just drop them back in the bottle to use the next time .
My daughter just got back from being In Germany for 18 months and is studying German studies in college. I can only imagine how someone with your personality might work with a typical German engineer or exec. Lol, good luck brother, but plan on being the one in the “wrong” no matter how much you think otherwise. 😫
I'd love to see some more testing with the new Active 2.0 especially with foam cannons and orifice sizes all while using a regular 15amp setup like in most houses.
@@felipe_silve Well no, you’d open the cabinet doors first and leave it open while operating the pressure washer. Size the cabinet properly and there shouldn’t be an issue with heat buildup.
It's crazy to me that people would even complain about a two dollar to nine dollar part they could easily replace. They were even mentioned as a consumable early on and failures can occur. When my toolbox at work broke I ended up buying a replacement without whining about it. When the laces on my sons rented skates for his seasonal hockey practice quit lacing up I bought a new pair and they stayed with those skates for the next kid to use. Being a generous person isn't difficult and can be gratifying if you don't let stubbornness control your thoughts.
Anyways @obsessed garage I have yet to use my detailing Pressol sprayers but I plan on buying extra accessories for when they do fail. I have however been using the Household sprayers around the home where one of the black one is starting to show some wear and noticed once I sprayed with some water it definitely helped. I'd be happy to assist in the data and provide photos once I get deeper into using all of the bottles.
I live in Toronto Canada where our winters get to -25 degrees Celsius before a few weeks. If I had this set up in my garage that is not heated. What would happen to it.

The issue is that collusion is illegal, so the way companies, like the Germans, protect their largest buyers is to also require large buy ins from competitors. Chip foundaries and oem parts suppliers are famous for this, requiring small businesses like Obsessed Garage to unfortunately having their reputation tied to the dissemination of inferior product lines and service level agreements (SLAs), until they can demonstrate enough generated revenue to these oem's to demand better terms for their purchasing agreements and SLAs. It's the same reason young ceo Elon Musk was quickly dismissed early on when he pitched Apple inc. the Tesla Model 3 LR prototype for its new Apple Car. Its a big boy world.
If there is such a high failure rate and the company doesnt respond well to critisicism without hard data, why pursue them? Surely there is a company within the U.S. that can offer a nicer and better quality bottle and without the shipping and import fees.

Yeah, the Kwasar are long lasting and function okay. I don't what it is, but I've never liked them.

Maybe a screw-on cap, and take the spray nozzle off - so the high alkaline products do not sit in them.
I wonder if you'd ever consider putting the pressure washer setup in a wall mounted cabinet for those who want an even cleaner look.

You might overheat the pressure washer if in an enclosed cabinet without airflow

You would need to drain it in the winter.
