Adios Pro 3 for works for everything except easy/recovery runs. Very durable midsole and outsole. You can train and race in the same pair, the ride remains consistent throughout.
I’ve got both shoes. Had the Boston 12 first then got the pro 3’s. I use them for exactly for what they are for Boston for training and Pro for racing. I think the key thing you got wrong and should be mentioned is although they have the same layout and makeup for the rods the rod in the Boston are fibreglass and the rods are carbon in the pro 3. Which is why you would feel more a kick in the pro 3.
The kick is really the 39mm lightstrike pro foam in the pro 3. The carbon plates or rods add very little but help stabilise the foam. There's actually been tests now where the plate was removed/made without and there was no performance loss. Makes sense as when shoes tire out after a lot of miles its not the carbon that's breaking down its the foam.
Love the boston 12. Picked up my second pair and my first still have loads of life in them. Also just picked up my pro 3 and after so.e reviews I am a tad nervous I won't get on with it. 😢 fingers crossed!
Your Intro Jingle 😂 Love the Boston 12 especially for my hill work and just setting a pace and forgetting about it. I finally got the Pro 3 this month in the same colorway as you the first inner lace loop gives me a blister on my large toe knuckle trying cushioned laces seems to help but haven’t done more than a 10 Mile in them.
My Boston 11 ripped apart on the outside lower part of the upper (on both shoes simultaneously) after around 100-150 km, and I later found out that many others had the same problem. Have you heard of any such problems with the Boston 12? It was a shame, because I naturally liked the shoe, but am reluctant to invest into the successor unless I know the problem has been fixed.

What is the best daily trainer under $200? I tried the nike infinity run 4 and the cushion was great
It's right at the mark but I love the asics superblast
Which shoe do you think is faster?
puma deviate nitro elite 2 X Boston 12
The Puma feels faster.
@@FilipLatochaRunning
thank you for the info,
So the Boston 12s are faster than the Nitro2, but the Nitro Elite 2s are faster
Currently I’m wearing US8.5 for Boston 12. What size should I get for Pro 3.
I wear a US M 9 in both the Takumi Sen 10 I had to go up Half a size.
Boston fit is same as pro 3.
The takumi sen is totally different fit...takumi is more narrow than adidas lineup
Filip, what was yr lifetime mileage of the B12?
400+ Miles
How many Kms/miles are your boston 12 when you felt the cushioned fatigued?
I'd say around 200-250 miles, the foam started to fatigue.
Thank you!
🐿😅
