The guy in the clip, just...respect. He gives Thuy a whole different character profile. People are likely to hate him because he ruins the "Kim-Chris" couple goals (like Ellen) and some make it even easier by portraying him as cruel and aggressive. But this Thuy is desperate, he hides his suffering under the Comisssar uniform, he loves Kim so much and just...look at his face! As he approaches Kim and asks her to shoot, he is ready to cry because he sees how much she loves her child and how hurt she would be if she ever lost him. I know this is a clip focusing on another person, but I couldn't see the scene of Thuy's Death anywhere on TH-cam so I wanted to write it now that I found it...
@@atikahsari5024 This is before gerald santos began acting thuy on stage and just got casted i believe... and hes just introducing the character thuy to the audience?? not sure but thats what i got from it. And also Hong Kwang Ho was the initial Thuy of the revival and all the advertising was done through his clips so thats probably why if its not for the other reason....
You can purchase the full film of the miss saigon musical if you want to see hong kwang ho in action. he is utterly AMAZING. The scene where he is potrayed as kim's nightmare after his death is also very captivating to watch..
